    REAR Tire removal tools needed from just doing this myself:
    * 1/2” Breaker bar for removal (don’t use torque wrench for removal, it could mess up the torque calibration)
    * 36mm 12 point socket for rear wheel axle (attached to breaker bar)
    * 8mm hex (male) for rear wheel to loosen lock screw, loosen only, don’t remove
    * Rubber Mallet to remove rear wheel axle
    * 17mm hex socket for lower swing arm bolt on rear wheel (this is tight, so I had to use the breaker bar. Also, the 24mm nut on the rear side of this bolt (closest to the spokes) may spin when trying to loosen the 17mm bolt, so to hold that rear 24mm nut steady you may need a 24mm wrench, or locking pliers)
    * T50 Torx wrench for Upper bolt on rear swing arm (the rear nut at the other end of this bolt closest to the wheel spokes is 14mm)
    * There is a spacer that will stay in the wheel because of the grease, but will be loose and could fall out, so keep that aside before moving the wheel to change the tire as it could fall out and get lost.

      I know, major flaw. Not an issue in my garage, but for an adventure bike, I would have liked to keep tools necessary to remove rear wheel for going deep off of pavement, but this would add a ton of extra weight and bulk.

      you said what the video maker didn't. You get the credit ! That's a excellent description of the tools needed in preparation for the process of rear wheel removal. Good.

    Good job - but what are the torque setting numbers for all of the bolts?

    Perfect timing as I’ve got a tyre change due on my upcoming trip.
    Just remember to torque the axle back up to 185 Nm 🍻

    Thanx Fixing to put some Tractionaters on my new 1200 GT Explorer. The stock Metzler is a killer on gravel and at 40 to 50 mph it makes a really loud howl. Or is it just me?

      Stock tires are terrible. How are the Tractionaters? I went with Trailmax Raid, super happy with those.

    Quick question, I noticed your coolant level was just above the 'low' mark. Have you found that is where it seems to stay?
    When I got mine, the dealer had the level about midway between high and low but now its at the same level as yours. Is this Triumph normal?
    Very helpful video BTW.

      It maybe more complex than a GS, but it’s hardly complicated

    • @motolover5697
      @motolover5697 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@andrewshore262 it is about the center of gravity. Even much lighter bikes are very hard to lift from the ground than a GS. Had a T7. A friend has a 850 another one a Tiger 900. They are all top heavy and I would not ride them offroad alone as I do most of the time. The triple engine is nice, though. For pavement rides not a problem.

    • @andrewshore262
      @andrewshore262 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@motolover5697 I don’t disagree (my new GT Pro was delivered a few hours ago) before I purchased I test rode extensively the GS & GSA and you’re right the boxer engine is low down and it probably is easier to lift (Boxer engine etc.). My comment is just focusing on the procedure of rear wheel removal - because (just my opinion) all these mahoosive ADV bikes will quickly drain your energy if they go down a few times in close succession even a GSA. My bike is intended for road only use, if I was going off road I wouldn’t entertain anything bigger than a 500 & purpose built for it, big ADV’s are too expensive and two brittle for real off roading
