This summer I followed the Dominican Republic pretty closely as they played against Italy in the pools so I got a good look at KAT. I'm telling you, his mindset is just not there I believe. He is very complacent with himself, he almost never has the right body language (you may think that's bs but I think it's actually pretty important) l, he was shrugging off the opposition and he always made that face you do when you think you're in control of the game but he actually never was. The only way the Twolves would be really good with him is if he accepted a Bam Adebayo type role and to stably be a second fiddle to ANT. I don't know if that's gonna happen though. ANT doesn't yet have the pedigree to shut him down in games like these or to push him the way jimmy did, but I could definitely see a Kobe/Shaq dynamic developing in the future, the only difference being that KAT is nowhere near as nasty and as dominant as Shaq was

Exactly. One man scoring those type of points and about to lose says a lot about the team and coaching. If a man is on fire feed him the ball and make plays. It's the NBA so they want who they want as stars. It must not be him

I don't know all that much, and I'm still just learning in my old age. Am I really seeing basic mistakes like this all night, every night? Can it really be this easy for a spectator to critique NBA defense, or am I missing something? Thanks always for your videos.

a ton of respect for the coach, it takes balls to do something like this
it’s cool to score a lot of points, but you HAVE to be able to defend effectively. if you score 60 and never effect a shot, make a block or a steal, your 60 points it 100% meaningless

you missed the part where KAT got his arm completely hacked by leaky black at the end. wolves would have taken lead there instead of the hornets getting points of that supposed turnover. terrible call the refs threw the game. i agree he played bad defense and that's why it was close but you were overly harsh on towns for the complaining at the end it was just a god awful no call. they showed the replay on wolves broadcast he jumped up and karate chopped towns arm/wrist on his way down. towns does not get calls like this far too often with blatant contact

People look at stats from old games with ZERO CONTEXT and think it tells the whole story. It will never make sense and people like that will always be ignorant.

Yeah that 62 pts performance on high efficiency stopped a foul from being called at the end and his teammates shooting terrible. Probably wouldnt have been in that situation had he been on the court and not benched. Its not on him if hes not in the game for the final 5 or 6 minutes. He was in for the last play and got fouled on a no call. Its his teammates that lost this one. Doesnt matter if hes stat padding or not. Everything you do is stat padding technically. Lebron or luka running endless pick and rolls at the top is stat padding too. This one not on Towns. Anthony edwards claims he could beat Mj 1 on 1 and he drops 9 pts lol
