The faster boats did have full tanks fuel also because we made a whole lake day out of the day. That's why the green boat ran 100.5 instead of 103 like it normally can. A word of caution to people that have these very fast boats that the nose jumps so high you can't see ahead of you on take off. Make sure you have a totally clear path before going full throttle. A catfish tournament angler is in the hospital and going to be in a wheelchair for a while and hopefully not permanently after being struck while by a bass boat that took off where he could not fully see around a point downriver on Saturday and the other angler in catfish said the nose of bass boat was still up in the air blocking the bass anglers view ahead of him. Please either make sure everything around you is clear before going full throttle or slowly get on plane before you go full throttle so the front of your boat doesn't hide obstructions and fellow anglers from your line of sight. Just always think of you and your fellow anglers getting home to your families if that 10 seconds at take off is going to make that much difference in winning or losing maybe you need to find fish someone else isn't fishing.

That's not accurate at all! Full of fuel, gear for day out on the lake, still well over 90 easy. The green boat ran 100.5mph with everything that was in it. Even the Allison with the Promax will run 80+ and its a fully rigged bass boat.

It's gotten stupid! Most that are driving those don't have much sense on the water, check out the people getting killed in bass tournaments, it's ridiculous!
Great speed boats - mediocre bass fishing boats. They are too narrow, they rock side to side when two people are fishing in them, and they aren't quite as modern inside as the others. (I owned one and have been a 2 year old model this past summer). On a positive note, they were more fuel efficient than I expected - I assume due to the less drag in the water. These are DEF not for everyone - but I am sure there is a market for them ...60+ yrs in biz! kudos.

Bullet 21ft. Kevlar Hull here. Allison's a little faster but mine fishes better. I have been in all of them.
I still want to ride in a Bullet! They are baddd boats and look awesome!
I do 36 in my little tx17 with a 75hp 2 stroke. It feels like you’re flying in that little boat 😂
Man that rig is badderdenshit brother
Going that fast and no life jacket
Darwinism
What lake were yall
On?
Lake Norman
I'm a cat fisherman I like boats but hell-to-the-no then fishing ain't going nowhere I'll be there when I get there I don't need no rocket to get to go fishing this is plane crazy I bet if they've had one real bad accident I don't think they would do it again
You are the guy that’s gets thrown out of his 12 ft John with a 7.5 Eska and gets run over at 5 mph. Just saying.
All the guys doing the speed runs are wearing vests from whatcI watched
You need a fish able boat like a Bullet or TIBURON
Never considered those bass boats
What lake are y’all at? I live on Logan Martin.
This was on Lake Norman
I kept thinking this was on lake Norman..
It is!
@@thatduckguyeric1711 my sister lives there on the lake..
I can hit 81.8 in my 24 ft phoenix
Put a Minn Kota Ultrex on it, four batteries, three Humminbirds, two Talons, and two 250 rednecks then come in with a live well full of fish and I will be impressed. Plus, Allisons are just butt ugly with those broad hips.
Exactly. I'm more impressed with my 18ft 1988 Ranger 374v with a 150hp fully loaded doing 64mph then this. Center consoles for a bass boat are just dumb too. I don't want to be sitting that close to my buddy, might as well just sit on my lap at that point. I like Allisons but not impressed by the video, especially since these are "Speed Runs" with next to no speed displayed on the video, was only in like 2 spots and only on 1 boat. Nice. I'm more impressed with Tritons with 250hp's hittin 103mph then these Allisons.
Ive seen a few rigged out like that. Even have a limit in the livewell
They’re bass boats.. they don’t fish in them. That’s the difference
It’s not the performance of how fast and how much you spend on electronics it’s how much your rods are has a avid bass fisherman the most important thing is what’s on the end of your line always remember that bass fisherman
Lake Lanier ?
Norman
Don't mean to be a party pooper, but where are the life jackets?
These boat are fast ... just not a tourney boat ride and fishabilty is more importanat to me ,If wanted to go fast and be able to fish out of i would buy Bullet the fast enough and still looks and fishs better just my 2cent's.
@Team Marine Service
No PFD’s ? Fools.
Not exactly tournament ready boats
That’s not a bass boat that’s a riding boat no troller motor no rod lockers no seats on the front deck
You gotta have fast fish if you guys are trolling, either that or you're going to rip their lips off. Probably have a full string of lips on a hook.
bass boat a bass boat without a trolling motor? If i strip a phoenix and run it with no poles no trolling motor no gear it will run into the 80s with a 250
Why do fishing boats have to go so fast? Isn’t it supposed to be relaxing?
They should be fast, no trolling motor, no graphs, no gear, one battery and probably on 25% fuel.
That's not accurate at all! Full of fuel, gear for day out on the lake, still well over 90 easy. The green boat ran 100.5mph with everything that was in it. Even the Allison with the Promax will run 80+ and its a fully rigged bass boat.
@@thatduckguyeric1711 lol 90+ now
if I hit 50 I slow down f that shit
How stupid can you be without wearing lifejackets
2nd that one
When the boat is a paper weight and also has nothing on it. What do you expect
My boat the teal and white with mariner, fully loaded, troller, three batteries, rods and tackle runs low 90's
@@Jerry-yj9mx and the boat is light as hell.
Yep. And they can't handle Chop as well because of it.
Life is always full of trade offs
😮 300r mercury bullet boat good enough garmin trolling motor yellow color do little on cover 20xd 2020 model toyota 4x4 tundra v8 pull it get s done ky lake Tennessee
It's gotten stupid! Most that are driving those don't have much sense on the water, check out the people getting killed in bass tournaments, it's ridiculous!
What about those getting killed in the shower?
I'll settle for 30mph on the water and 65 on the road (car/truck/bike). 90 on either? Go ahead, I'll hold your beer and watch.
The boat I own only runs 30 haha. I do like my speed though!
johncmitchell4941 < Just stay out of the fast lane.
U R so cool not wearing life jackets. Not.
These are DEF not for everyone - but I am sure there is a market for them ...60+ yrs in biz! kudos.
None of those are bass boats I don’t care if the manufacturer causing that are not
My boat goes faster than that 1
The ones without trollers are just pure gay
Life jacket? Who cares!
Idiots for not wearing PFD’s . More money than common sense. Not impressed
Respectfully he is not a idiot, they had life jackets you just couldn’t see them and they had them on throughout the video
