Think of this video as a moving screensaver with accompanying motivational music.
If you are thinking of travelling to northern Norway this will give you an idea of road conditions. Filmed in mid June 2023, the season had been much warmer than usual and we were led to believe there would normally be more snow around although the roads would be clear.

You actually started this video just outside Leknes, not Svolvaer. Svolvaer is another hour or so away to the Northeast. Still, a lovely drive. Thank you

Thanks John, I knew it was some way out of Svolvaer - but wasn't really too sure how far. It had been raining when we left so I didn't have the roof camera in place as it is only splashproof and not waterproof. But as you say, it was a lovely drive. Just a shame we weren't blessed with the weather we'd had for other legs of the trip. Hey ho, you can't have everything!

It would be helpful if you zoom in on a map and show us the planned route, before you started, with a few timestamps at landmarks. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess we haven't added those as they were part of our original road trip story videos. I don't think I'll change the format for the few driving videos we have left, but maybe when we do our 2024 tour I'll make more of these driving videos.
