I was born in Lofoten and actually worked several summers as a tourist guide there. Your guide is great, but you fail to mention one of the major attractions in Svolvær, the Svolvær Goat, a rock formation ressembling a goat. You can see it on your video as it is not so far from Devil’s gate (Djevelporten).
Hi beautiful informative video. We will be visiting on Nov 24th and staying in Reine. 1) just 3 queries - for northern lights will this be a good village to see them or rely more on northern lights tours(will be doing one anyways)….2) would the reinebriengen hike be open? 3) Any drone restrictions generally
Thanks for sharing these insights and locations :) I was in Lofoten in 2020 during the lockdown. Back then of course the whole place seems rather empty due to the travel restrictions. But I remember how I could not take my eyes of the spectacular views I saw thoughtout our drive. Really hoping to visit Lofoten again this summer, maybe in July. I was wondering how is it with tent camping in Lofoten. Would you suggest it?
Yes, the views, nature and hikes over there are really spectacular! I don't know how tent camping would be, but in summer I can imagine it would be amazing, because the endless sunsets (midnightsun). 😍
Tent camping in Lofoten is highly recommended as there are few restrictions compared to other countries, just remember to clean up after yourself and bring your litter with you!

Reminds me of my trip!! Great shots!,
Thanks! The Lofoten Islands are such a magical place!
So beautiful! ❤ I've been there in the winter, but I have to go back in the summer when I see this 😀
You really do! But I guess, also in the winter, the Lofoten Islands are very beautiful! 🤩
Excellent & great filming ... ❤
Thanks Jimmy!

I didn't have to.. there are just a few area's where its forbidden to fly. All the best in the beautiful Lofoten Islands 😎
