This restaurant is a work of genius on three different levels. It's a very lucrative business. It's a blatantly honest wake-up call for regular consumers of such foods and probably works as shock therapy. And thirdly, as a piece of performance art, it's a brilliant critique of consumerism in America.

I honestly do not blame the owner one bit. He not only warns people about the unhealthiness of his food, he makes it the selling point. When you have a restaurant like that and its still popular, well it is clear to see where the problem lies.

Good, that's literally the whole point of this place. It's shock therapy. You're meant to look at it and say, 'holy sh!t! We eat like crap!' and stop unhealthy eating habits. (primary the growing binge eating/blow-out weekends, over-indulgence, and hyper consumerism of Americans)

Came here after learning of Dr Michael Mosley’s tragic passing. Such a shame to hear. A lot of the programmes he was involved in were very informative in regard to healthy living. May he rest in peace.

A lot of drugs only have addictions that come only in psychological form? There's more illegal then just heroine, cocaine, extacy, ... Meanwhile a lot of illegal psychedelic drugs are really difficult to get addicted to, and it's still illegal. So I think if you dont want to make this hypocritical you shouldn't try to justify selling this food on the basis that it only has psychological addictions. They're often just as bad for people.

The thing about the heart attack grill is that it’s not that different from normal from other fast food chains. But unlike, McDonald’s or Burger King, this place admits that it doesn’t lie about its food. It doesn’t pretend that if you eat like this everyday, you will be ok. Look at McDonald’s ads. They have skinny people and family’s in them. They market their food to kids! People don’t like this restaurant because it speaks the truth. Sure it makes money off of it, but it doesn’t pretend that it’s healthy.
