You wouldn’t care if you weighed high enough. Not all people have the same capacity about their diet choices. Not everyone had the same opportunities to educate themselves about nutrition and eating right. Age alone doesn’t make an adult capable of making the right decisions. There’s a lot that goes into how people become obese. Just because people are liable to face consequences for their actions doesn’t mean you accelerate those consequences. That doesn’t help anybody. You can’t just exploit gullible people because not everyone who is gullible deserves to be exploited.
This is literally unethical. Zero argument for this shitty restaurant.

Hamza Jabr Like comparing apples to mud much, do you?
Green Guy human curiosity over the fact that such an abnormal sign on a restaurant is having customers leads to more customers. Great marketing tbh
He used to be a doctor. His goal is, in essence, to fail. He tells you, you will die from this. And yet…
The owner is literally a genius.
He absolutely is. He's making good money but more than that he's brilliantly illustrating a point about personal choice. He doesn't bullshit, he owns it, he tells you exactly what he's doing, and it's difficult for anyone to argue with him. These commercials and everything he does encapsulates so much of this country.
Asterverse Bless Dr. Jon
Mᴀᴅᴀᴍ Mᴀɪɴᴇᴄᴏᴏɴ or an American
I love how he is so honest about it.
Agree!
No one's forcing these people to go eat heart attack burgers.
@Jon Birch tHE CustOmEr Is AlwaYs RIGht... mate their is always gonna be a market for something. People need to be informed about what they do in their life. it is clear they are telling the customers the risks.
@Jon Birch doublestandard?
@Jon Birch I mean its in the name heart attack burgers
IF ok, if you were to ask me Its not really the heart attack burger owners fault cause He's being very honest. He's not lying or anything i mean its in the name too, "heart attack burger". So its the customers fault. cause they obviously don't have to go and eat there they could of gone somewhere else and eat somewhere else
like us, you, me and that guy there is just here talking about nonesense when we of course didn't really have to be here to and talking. :P
one more thing - you might be saying like, well he didn't have to build this restaurant well suck it up cry baby cause Its already been built its not like you can go back to the past and say hey don't build that. So lets focus on the present cause obviously we can't just randomly make a time machine yet. To me I think these people who goes there just want to eat nothing more nothing less. Its your responsibility to take care of yourself and its their responsibility to take care of themself. am I wrong.
“Ethical issue”????
Theres a big sign at the door saying “DANGER”
The name of the restaurant itself speaks danger. Everyone just loves playing the victim nowadays
these are sad addicts who need help not encouragement. i dont think the owner is any worse than cigarette or alcohol companies. they are all equally fucked.
@@zoesimpson9927 does right, but a lot more dangerous, because most of the new generation's aren't much smokers, but definitely addicting to these bad nutrition habit, including children's. Obesity, diabetic, and all different bad,bad reactions. Government's taxes increased for these businesses, and stopping to do for moderates ,poor smokers.
@@zoesimpson9927 you did mention something I didn't think about. I forgot some people actually have food addictions

Here in America we have Blacks being victim over everything and dumb white people being offended by everything on behalf Of every other race. .... Try living here
i dont think the owners in the right but his honesty is great and to be fair he didnt ask you to come to his restaurant to be interrogated
How so? He opened a business, people decided to eat there, 3 men agreed to promote his business even with preexisting health conditions. He did not force them to make this commitment. They all could have stopped going there anyway and time of the week.
Reporter: Your food is killing people
and you're making money from it
Owner: I agree
Reporter: *You're not supposed to do that*
Reporter: cut cut cut no damnit your not supposed to say that
No one forced those morons to eat there.
WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IS THAT LEGAL?
tbh, the owner is close to zero accountability for any casualties caused by his food. There is literally a sign on the door that says "Eating here is bad for your health". Not to mention the whole hospital theme of the restaurant, like screaming at you that "if you eat here, you WILL be hospitalized". I'm glad the owner is honest too, giving out straight answers and owning up to the stigma around his restaurant. If he gets rich because of his restaurant, then seriously I say to him: Well played and good job.
What about Mcdonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut, KFC, Popeyes and those other places?
Aren't they a same as well though?
Not gonna lie, his method is sorta genius. It's some sort of reverse psychology
I think I agree with what you're saying but my god, you're illiterate.
yup that's what i thought too, to think that he used to have jenny craig centers as former businesses (maybe they failed) this is his ironic solution.
Plainsville Productions yupp like politicians and their wage on terrorists crap even though they themselves armed them with weapons .....reverse psychology at its best when the American fatasses voted for bush again after 911 lol....dumb ass people.....USA beautiful place but it's the people that make it shitty
These thoughts are really naive. See that food as a harmful drug (although it kind of is) and then you will see the costumers as real addicts (they are). It's not all on the costumer. Yes, they make bad choices and prefer to numb their existence and pain with addictive food. But where is the government who is allowing this shit? They have the legal and the moral fault when they are not doing some regulation. And what about the dickhead "genius" shitty owner? He has a moral fault too. He's just an asshole with the brain of a psychopath selling disease for money (Yeh, capitalism doing it again). Not only obese people are the ones that suffer because of metabolic/heart disease, eventually most of the population is affected by a bad diet, so don't take this lightly and think it won't affect someone you care about or even you in the future.
The Plains Jam it is smart but evil
That's what I call ZERO FU*KS given
Compiler Revolt I agree.
lol basically saying "yeh we all know high fat food is bad, lots of it will kill you, but I don't care and you'll still eat here so fuck you".
To the extreme
Compiler Revolt
ZF clan?
How is it a fuck you if i'm giving you exactly what you want? Seems like if he wanted to express that sentiment he would've opened the restaurant up, served one delicious meal, and then closed it down the same day.
It isn't morally wrong to give people what they want unless what they want is to hurt someone else. And that spokesman probably had the best life a fat guy could ever wish for.
Total legend. Jon Basso is living the life of an Adult Swim supervillain.
This owner is the most honest man alive.

Meanwhile every street corner in America is filled with garbage food that people overeat every day. Can't believe they go after this restaurant for being self-aware lmao. Funny enough they fry in lard which is far healthier than the veggie oils every restaurant cooks in these days (hopefully they still do since this is 10 years old)
Their not "blaming", their saying he's "condoning" there's a difference.
I am going to be very honest here. After watching this video many years back, I really was appalled and shocked and strived even to this day to really reconsider my food habits and choices. The owners mesage actually helped me.

McDonald's does the same thing at 1000000 times the scale yet they only pay attention when the name is heart attack grill. Owner is genius.
um McDonald’s is no where near to the level of this one , 19,000 a meal vs 300-900 are very different , health wise both are unhealthy , but the heart attack grills allows no vegetables while McDonald’s does , you have to weigh 350 to eat for free , they promote obesity while McDonald’s doesn’t ,McDonald’s is like any other fast food place but this is over the top , everything is good in moderation and you can treat yourself but this is *too much*
