I have a 2014 690 Duke. I want to get rid of the cat because it's ugly and every time I change the damn oil, it leaks all over the top of it. It's a mess and takes ages to clean, then it still smells like burning death every time I stop for the next 3-4 rides. Question: do I also need a new exhaust, or can I just get the cat bypass pipe that connects the header to the exhaust? I see the bypass on ebay for like $125 but I'd like to avoid having to spend several hundred more on the exhaust if possible, and just keep the stock one on there. Any advice?
hi mate what are these fresco midpipes like?? are they any good ?? there cheap to buy thats all and whats your opinion on the sp project end can with this midpipe was going to get the akrapovic with it ??? cant make my mind up.

0:50 -> Slip on + stock cat
1:20 -> Slip on + Fresco bypass (no cat)
That was what i wanted ;) the bypass dont have a cat. There are pipes which has the cat nevertheless. But thanks and sorry for my stupidity :D

Ron Johanan i asked the makers of this mid pipe they said you should just let the engine run for 5min no need for remap
