    I love that he's sharing a theremin here, but omgosh why does he have the guitar on his lap the whole time? It's gotta interfere with the theremin.

    Eric, I am like you, I love playing with new sounds. You don't need to apologize for anything. It is just fun watching you enjoying this experimenting and hearing these classic electronic sounds. My college thesis in ca 1973 was electronic music. So, I can really relate to this.

    Eric thank you!!!! I've played the theremin for 5 years now and I have the cheapest model you can buy. I love this instrument and I'm so grateful you are learning it and showing it on your channel. I first subscribed to your firearms channel and when you started showing your music i'm even more of a fan.

    Awesome- I have a Moog Etherwave theremin. I use it for cool sci fi space effects. People who can actually play melodies with it are crazy talented!

    Very instructive... it is best for beginners to learn from those who recently were beginners themselves.

    When I was about 7 years old my Dad made this kind of instrument. It was so addictive to play with that on some point I was banned from using the instrument.

    One of the craziest instruments out there. Very cool. Moog is pronounced like “Vogue” by the way.

    having a guitar on your lap will effect the way your mini preforms .you have an advanced setting witch you can spread out your notes to make it easy 'er to play. follow the directions on you little LED readout screen.

    Cool!!
    I've only seen a theremin in a Telephone Museum or on tv documentaries.
    Me and my son loved to play it.
    Nice idea and amazing sound.
    Cheers from Brazil.

    Oh my GOD....it's YOU! It's freaking YOU! 😯 I put guns on the back burner for a minute to educate myself in my "other" hobby...and I still see YOU. WTF?? How did this happen?? What a weird and wild world it is... Who do you work for!! Answer me! Are you with "them"? Did they put you up to this??? Is this "gang stalking"??? 😁
    Ok... Now that I'm over my initial shock I have to say I really appreciate this video... it's cool and you obviously have some ample musical talent even if you're no virtuoso on the theremin. Seriously, finding this video was like stumbling on a cache of silver while metal detecting. And it's freakin YOU!...I still can't believe it. What the hell is the relationship between combloc weapons and synthesizers that I end up watching you in both cases??

    1) What is the difference between analog and digital theremins? Apart from digital effects, of course.
    Do they sound different? I have a suspicion that a digital theremin just sounds exactly like a VSTi synth, so there isn't really a point in using it?... Am I wrong?
    2) Some theremins are really cheap, some are expensive.
    Why?

    • @Guitarsenal
      @Guitarsenal  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I apologize for the delay in response. I've been busy as hell. 1. I'm not 100 percent sure on that one. Call Jimmy at Atlanta Discount Music here in Atlanta, GA. I'm sure he can help you. 2. I think the price different comes from the materials used. The more expensive units usually have nice wooden enclosures, etc. Sonically, I'd be willing to bet they have better components too.

    question: how loud is the built in speaker? I m getting a bundle with a 15 watt amp anyways but was just curious.

    • @Guitarsenal
      @Guitarsenal  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's loud enough for practicing at home, but playing a group or using it live you'll have to run it with the PA or into an AMP.

    • @MikeHunt90731
      @MikeHunt90731 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Guitarsenal thank you for your reply. Im hoping the Behribger 15 watt amp will suffice. I hope it has mad delay, investing in pedals will be pricey.
