Do you know what version of BlueCruise was on the car? I have seen demos of BlueCruise 1.3 and that appeared very confident, and mostly hands-off.

I don’t know what version of BlueCruise it was. I filmed this in June of 2023 on a 2023 model Mustang Mach-E Select

Nice demo. I've been driving my 23 mach e on a 6 lane divided road with 55 limit. My big screen settings are all correct so I get up to speed and hit the big button on the left. The first thing that appears is the distance setting icon. Then a bubble appears around the car icon but the screen doesn't turn blue. Can you determine what is going on? Maybe I should get on the highway to see if things change.

Try it on a different major highway, if the navi doesn't know the road well enough it won't activate

How does this system compare to the Subaru Eyesight Lane Keeping Assist and Dynamic Cruise Control for highway driving? I don't care about lane changing assist, which I know is missing in the Subaru system.

This system can do a lot more than the Adaptive Cruise Control with Subaru Eyesight. This Ford Blue Cruise System can do true hands free driving on a highway that is digitized into its Navigation system. Subaru’s current system can’t do anything like that

@@CarDietrich Did you get a chance to compare this system to GM Super Cruise?

I know I am late to this video. But does this work effectively at night as well?

Yes, BlueCruise is designed to work at night

The only thing I hate is people saying it's a hands-free lane change, you use your hands twice in fact to make that lane change lol how was that a hands-free lane change sure you didn't have to turn the wheel but you still used your hands.
