Hey, so... a FULL Clue reaction on Patreon? Question: I've seen other "full" reactions on Patreon, but they don't show the any clips of the film? It's just their reaction, and the viewer has to watch their own copy of the film. While I DO have a copy of the greatest murder mystery ever made, I only have a singular device, and thus unable to play watch along with the reaction. Or does reaction show parts of the film, and cut away for the length of the film. Clue is probably my favorite movie of all time, or at least tied with with The Dark Knight, In The Heat Of The Night.
@@FLQueerLiberal1982 thanks for asking. Our full length reactions are picture in picture with no cut aways so you can see the entire film/episode on the screen while we watch so you do not need a second device.
Noah didn't capture Helge. He rescued him, nursed him back to health, taught him and gave him a lot of attention making him feel important. This was what he needed most. He may have done it cynically and he may have kept him locked in the bunker, but from little Helge's perspective he is the only person besides his father that didnt treat him like crap.
2:13 No, there aren't two apocalypses, but each episode usually shows the same day in different time periods exactly 33 years apart. So each time you have the "click" scene transition - unless noted otherwise - you know it's still the same day (June 23rd here), just in a different time period. The apocalypse happens on June 27 (in 2020), and the countdown counts the days until that. 10:05 Stockholm syndrome, yes, but in this case, also brainwashing. Noah influenced Helge for months before sending him back to the 50s.
Always keep in mind that, maybe apart from Tannhaus, Claudia is the most intelligent person in the show. She gave young Helge private lessons and took over the responsiblity for the power plant from his father. And she immediately figured out that the figures of the power plant were forged. And she obviously knows what happened after the apocalypse, judging from the tape recording that Jonas listened to.
0:10 In Avatar: The Last Airbender Sokka and Aang make ghost sounds and this brought me right back to it. That being said I have to be off the computer for a few hours before I can spam the comment section with my annotations.
It's so weird that there are people in DARK discussion groups that have seen this episode and still hold tight to what teenage Ulrich said about Egon in season one. He isn't really a bad cop but he could not piece this puzzle together before. In fact we saw the police urging him to let the investigation go and retire. Most remarkably people who have watched at least the first two seasons mock him for being obsessed with the question "Warum nicht Waldweg?" Although they should now in the last third of season one that Helge was on the forest road because he was indeed the one abducting Mikkel. And that Egon was onto him. Egon was also not wrong in judging teenage Ulrich as someone who was capable of smashing a child's head in with a rock. Because he did.
Adam is played by Dietrich Hollinderbäumer and Egon is played by Christian Pätzold. Hollinderbäumer has much more experience than Pätzold it seems and I am told that he often plays comedic roles.
Our full length reaction to the next episode is currently up on Patreon!! The link is in the description.

@@FLQueerLiberal1982 With the Libras, you get the movie and their reaction at the same time. Is this what your question is?

The tragedy of Helge
Helge thought during more than 30y that Noah saves him; Ulrich being the madman who beats him and lock him up.

2:14: All timelines are exactly 33 years apart, and time goes on. So only the actual date matters, the year is unimportant for the apocalypse.

Nor sure if you were too shocked but when Doris said to Agnes that she loves her, Agnes replied with "Schön bist du."

9:20 Not only the information how the Tannhaus device works but also the schematics, the idea, for the device seem to come from nothing.
