So many fascinating revelations in this episode. I absolutely love how Egon is slowly learning the truth as we retroactively get to witness all the clues that had always been there right in front of him. Meanwhile, Noah somehow seems to be connected to Charlotte, while we learn Agnes is his sister. It's looking more and more like everybody in this cast is somehow connected to each other. We're already on Season 3 Episode 3 over on www.Patreon.com/Robinoyo! Go and check out the next 8 episodes right now! Thanks for watching :)

16:32 Mikkel came to Egon at police station in 1986 in S01E03. It's what Egon himself have written.
Lots of people say all of Dark was planned. It wasn't. There's an interview (titled BT 2018 Baran bo Odar & Jantje Friese on TH-cam, timestamp 27:30) where Jantje explains they were bored of their plan when they finished season 1, so they reworked it before making season 2 and 3. I think you can clearly see this. 2 and 3 feel more interconnected than 1, and 1 has some loose threads and things that point in a clearly different direction to where it all goes. It's really fun to notice the things that got brushed over or blended into the new narrative. Personally I think the ending is pretty much as once planned, but I think very large aspects were never on the table in season 1.
Addendum. For example I think Noah was totally meant to be Agnes' husband, many people thought so, and not her brother. Though in that case the casting for husband and wife was insanely lucky to work pitch perfectly for brother and sister which factors against my theory. (I think) And I think Bartosz was meant to be Noah, the rivalry of Jonas and Bartosz was totally meant to transform into Noah Vs the stranger. I also think Aleksandr and Regina witnessing the dome over Winden was meant to be important. And that Hannah's "destroy Ulrich" had more to it for Aleksandr.
@@farfaraway4285 That's true. But I feel like while many people take Jantje as a mastermind plan writer, she's actually much more of a gardener like GRRM and Vince Gilligan. There's many examples of repurposing and reinterpreting scenes from early in the show to later stuff that was never originally that deep. The deja vu for example. That was a seed in episode 1 that went extremely far. That's part of the boredom she spoke of, and part of the wanting to be creative. They get to be brilliant and make new connections. That's just as brilliant as planning every detail. Which they also did in large lart
I agree, season 1 feels so much different, i think they had a faint idea of some major events, for eg, ultimate fist bump, martha having deja-vu and somehow jonas being the centre of it I don't think Noah and Agnes were meant to be husband and wife, they have similar eyes and jawline, and noah picked up yasin which Elizabeth was dating(well very high chances that meant nothing lol but yeah) And also bartosz being noah also was meant to be misdirect, they were always meant to be somehow related, cuz hanno to noah makes wayy more sense to bartosz to noah
When you finish the show I found this video with interviews with the cast. It’s pretty great! But obviously not until you are done! th-cam.com/video/wrQWsArx6YA/w-d-xo.html

As long as you know where you’re going doesn’t matter how you get there. They didn’t have to plan everything. Good writing starts at the end.
