    The band aids and nurse passes are a really good idea that I hadn't thought of! I can't even imagine how stressful substituting would be.

      It's always good think ahead. Thanks for the comment. I'm with you about the subbing.... I could never do it. I'm too OCD.

    I am a future elementary school teacher and I am getting so many ideas from you! I am really inspired! When I become a teacher, I am definitely going to try your substitute teacher ideas and your binder ideas. I would have to tailor it for the Elementary intermediate grades, but they are so helpful and informative! Thank you so much! :)

    Another EXCELLENT video!! Wow! Question for you....the next time you schedule to do a planning video, I was wondering if you'd mind letting us know what you do each day (before school, and then after school) and what you do on the weekends to keep yourself so organized? I am a little challenged in this area - mainly in time management. I bet you have a system of what you do each morning, and then each afternoon to make sure everything gets done. I feel like I have to reorganize every afternoon from the day's activities, and then I'm racing every morning to get ready for the next day. I never seem to get ahead. I'm SURE you have tips on a daily routine for staying organized and using the best of our time. Just a suggestion!! :)

      +Rabbit Child I will definitely try and talk about that in the vlog that I record this coming week. I have to admit that I have those days as well. In fact, I've been that way for the past two weeks which is why haven't had my typical vlogs posted. Life can certainly be crazy sometime. Try sitting don and thinking what you can do in the morning and afternoon that will get you ahead. Than look back and see what you can fit in different areas and times in your schedule. The hardest part is sticking to it. Make it a priority. So often, I felt like I was never able to catch up but that was because I was constantly making excuses for not getting things done! If you have read the book Getting Things Done this is a MUST READ!!!! I fell in love with this book and it has honestly helped me so much. I still need help, and I am not perfect but I am better than what I use to be when I first started teaching. Really though, look at what are the routines you have each day and set a time/time-frame when you need to do it and stick to it. Make a commit to make a change. It works. Hope that helped you out a little.

    Yay! I found you again! I watched an old vid you posts awhile ago and I liked how you were set up😊. For some reason I lost track of your channel? Maybe you changed channels??? Anyhoo, I'm subscribed to @toocoolformiddleschool and when I clicked her link to your sub plans vid I thought "Cool! Here she is again!" I just subscribed to your channel and am gonna start watching a few vids now🤔.
    I'm a mommy of three and have taken a few years off from teaching to raise them but I may be about ready to go back into the classroom again and seeing videos of really well put together teachers gets me pumped and excited to start even though I know I'll dread the day I'll have to leave my little guys at day care once again😰. Ah well, thank you for posting!

      I'm so glad that you subscribed and are enjoying the videos! I totally understand how you feel about leaving your kiddos. I go through stages where I'm glad to be away doing things that I love (no matter how stressful sometimes) because I know that I am a good mom that way and there are times like last week where I miss my kids and want to spend every minute with them. You will be great and I'm glad you are getting pumped!

    Great ideas!
    Can I ask from which seller did you purchase your emergency sub plans?

    • @BridgingLiteracy
      @BridgingLiteracy  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I've gotten them from mainly two sellers:
      www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Primary-Plans-From-Mrs-Smith
      And
      www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Howywood-Kindergarten
      Hope this helps! Thanks for watching.

    Great video! Just a note to not have the background music so loud as I really struggled to hear you :)

      Yes it is a bit loud in this one. Should be better in my other videos. Thank you for watching!
