Thank you so much! I have been searching forever, about five minutes, so forever in the internet world, and you explained it perfectly and clearly! I hook up a TV for my Dungeons and Dragons maps for my players. Thank you!!
Thanks for this video!!! I was going crazy thinking I wasn't doing this right, but didn't know I could move the screen positions to align with where I had my monitor.
You'll have to lower your refresh rate. CPU is the bottleneck sometimes. Like for me I get 144Hz on my laptop screen but for external monitor with HDMI, even though it can go 165Hz, neither 165 or 144 works. But when I lower it to 120 Hz it works.
Thank you. Great easy to follow explanations, my go to person for my Computers. I followed you here and was able to set up my second monitor. I have subscribed thankyou again.
😢I don't understand one thing I want to connect my laptop to the PC and just do everything there with my laptop closed not really a dual monitor setup I just want to know if that's also possible as I am not tech savvy at all Thanks for the vid Great explanation by the way
I connected with one monitor with my loptop uwing Dock station but monito showed me click ok automatically switch to HDMI2 in put. what do I have to do? Please return to me. Thank you for sharing.
In my case, it's not working. I've independently tested everything. The laptop is fine, the LCD screen is fine, the graphic drivers are updated, the cables are fine, but my laptop display just won't connect to my LCD via HDMI. In fact, I've tried 3 different laptops and same result. But my LCD plays direct HDMI input just fine using the same HDMI cable
Question... when I plugged in my monitor to be used as a 2nd monitor to my laptop, nothing would happen. I used a display port (monitor) to HDMI (laptop) and still no signal and still "no detection" whatsoever. What am I doing wrong? Why wont the monitor be found on my laptop? Please help
Hi. I want to be able to view 2 different websites at the same time.. Is this possible by using this system on two laptops? Also my old laptop runs very slow... It sometimes takes forever for windows to open and in the past it froze up alot..(so I bought new laptop) Do you know if I'll have same problem? Is it better for me to just buy a used monitor? Thanks in advance.
Thank you so much, clear a simple advice. No high tec talk..i was able to understand all instructions given..
