- The small, but highly efficient Engelhartszell plant is located on the banks of the Danube near the famous Danube loop. At our production location in Austria, around 35 million writing instruments are produced every year, and around 250 tons of ink are produced and processed per year. Textliners and inks for liquid writing instruments such as Fineliner, PITT Artist Pen and Multimark are supplied to Faber-Castell plants worldwide. The "Textliner 48", manufactured exclusively in Engelhartszell, is an export hit and is sold in over 120 countries.
There is more and more recycled plastic being used for our pen caps and bodies. The Textliner Pastel is such a prime example in terms of sustainability and resource-saving use of raw materials.

I'd recommend don't buy faber castel. Their other products are good but the highlighters are pretty low quality for practical usage.

i think the "harmless dyestuffs" is a mistranslation from german where "harmlose Farbstoffe" is the correct expression. they probably meant "harmless pigments" or "harmless colorants"

I am always amazed at how companies can spend money on a high quality camera, good editing and everything but then fail to at least have someone check their translation

To me, Faber Castell isn't about pencils, really. They have the best Highlighters and I had always used their highlighters when I was in school. 😍

The manual packing dept workers featured towards the end of the video, look so lively and colorful. I guess these are not the actual fulltime workers.
For behind every succesful company, there are these hard working people, who toil hard. Their clothes might be dirty or crumpled, tired and echausted from the work.
But these are the ones that make the company look so presentable and good, for the world to admire.

I literally never had an idea that those Metallic highlighters exist until I stumbled upon this video.
Hmm that's what amazed me!
I got the silver one for my birthday and I love it. It's not for everyone - some of my peers have found it rather weird - but I think it's great.
It doesn't pop as much as normal highlighters, but I think that might be only an issue with the silver one, not with the rest of the metallic ones.
How much they glitter depends on the light; we have rather warm light at home and it glitters like crazy, but with cold light, it's less sparkly.
Some of the glitter always comes of; all of my worksheets are a little glittery by now, and if I move my hand over it, it glitters as well. I personally don't mind and even enjoy that, but it's something to keep on mind.

I have one that I got between 1996 - 2002 that still works as good as new!!! Of course I didn't use it much, however, because it is a marker, it's a miracle that hasn't gone dry! Thank you Faber Castell, never drop the quality please!!!!

In German, the word for "dye" is "Farbstoff", which literally means "color stuff/substance".
You can also tell just by the title that the producers of the video are most likely Germans/Austrians, because the structure of the phrase resembles the german one more than the english one.
The pens are made of very strong plastic ... I remember trying to break my pen until I put it under my desk 😂😂and it wasn't broken .. you're such a smart company ❤️
