Social Experiment: Are Chinese REALLY shocked by foreigners Speaking Fluent Chinese?

- You may have seen a lot of language pranks on the internet. This is a funny social experiment done in Tokyo speaking fluent Chinese to random Chinese people in Japan. Will they react like you see online? This video is meant to make you laugh and also add some context to the speaking Chinese prank videos I make and will keep making on TH-cam.
Below are language learning tools I have personally used for years. Direct purchases of software from these links goes to supporting this channel.

This channel is new and we don’t know each other well yet. I hope this video helps you understand my background and the context behind the pranks. As I make new pranks in the future, understand that I am also just showing you the funniest reactions and not using footage of people that didn’t react. I’m just a silly person and like to have fun with people and chat. I hope we can have a lot of laughs together in the future as I post more and more videos. -Anming
your pronunciation in chinese is awesome
There's a white guy in nyc NYC doing the same kind of pranking. Forget his TH-cam
Bill piehler ha ha, I didn’t know about him until people told me last week. The funny thing is his video got my channel discovered. The first prank video I posted is old. It was filmed in July, and got posted in December. It sat here for over 70 days with no views. He did a prank video and TH-cam suddenly started suggesting my video with his. Funny how that happened.

張永蔚 Thanks so much! I should show you guys some more complex Chinese, but doing all the subtitles is going to take me days to make! Lol I’ve kind of purposefully made this simple for the sake of editing and translating subtitles into English and Japanese. That took longer than anything else.
I must admit i'm totally jealous of your fabulous language skills. I love that you are so kind and respectful to everyone. You are a great ambassador for America. Keep the videos coming.
If only there was a button that would like this comment more than once. Thank you.
you are amazing and the Chinese people are too ❤️
@@Predestinated1 Your Chinese is fantastic..Congratulations.... Do you speak other languages?
It's interesting when she switches to a different language she takes on the speaking mannerisms of the people who speak that language.
yes omg when she switched to japanese she sounded like a native speaker, not americanised japanese, and i was like !!?? ??
FREE CODING My friends say I have multiple personalities.
@@OrientalPearl Someone internally laughed from reading your comment.
Very strange indeed, but in a good way
I have the same, every polyglot basically
In my opinion, people aren't impressed when you're extremely good at Chinese, and that's a compliment! You're considered one of them. They seem more impressed at people that speak so so. Try making a phone call in Chinese, if no one compliments you, then you just passed as a fluent speaker! If they say you're very good...you need to improve
What the other people do is that they approach people in english and then suddenly switch to [language] after a few sentences. Of course people are more likely to be surprised when you do that than if you just go up to them and speak in their language directly.
It's also different if you're in Japan or in the US, if you're in Japan it's probably still not super common to meet white people who speak japanese but it's obviously less rare than in the US...
@@OsefKincaid ah, yes. I would be surprised as well since it's a sudden change
Yea i actually agree, its more like when they know you are struggling speaking but still trying, they really at that point want to encourage you by cheering you on. However sometimes if you really have good Chinese and speak a lot, they will just feel happy if you can speak Chinese since they don't need to bust out their horrible oral English lol. (Just joking hahaha)
Chinese people are very polite in my experience, she has a very strong foreigner accent but they will praise it because they respect your studying it.
At home, people surprised saying your accent is so Beijing, but when i am back in china they are just like meh, he probs lived here for 100 years
@@eek8605 I’ve only passed HSK3, so of course Chinese say I speak very good…their sarcasm is stronger than my Chinese! Her Chinese accent isn’t that bad. It’s better than some Chinese-Americans. It’s odd because they certainly look Chinese but some times speak Chinese with a strange accent
I read every single comment here and not one person thinks it’s strange that there is a pharmacy inside the bookstore. Guess it’s just me. Lol
It's not strange, pharmacy is usually inside a store or standalone one.
When you say I am American, does anybody ever asks you, what country in América?
Your forgetting your audience are foreigners we used to things like that 😂😂
CARLOS MERIDA, pintor ha ha, no but they ask what city and sometimes talk smack about my hometown lol
@@OrientalPearl Ha ha, I ask that all the time when I meet somebody from the States, just to see the shock on their faces lol
when they talked in chinese then casually proceed to talk in japanese got me 👁👄👁

VERY TALENTED COOL
because they are living in japan
I’m late but -Jennie baeeeeee~~
I loved that conversation with the Chinese guy that's been living in Japan for 30 years.
He gets the longest time in Japan trophy lol
Me too it's warming to have a connection like that, especially when it's something treasured like from your home town or going to the same university. Such a confidence and a wonderful encounter, it really goes got show experiencing more in live you have much more to love about life and share that
As someone who is currently learning both Mandarin and Japanese at the same time, this is very encouraging.
I'm glad that these videos encourage you!
Your videos and the fact that you are fluent in Chinese and Japanese after eight years, is a good example of why it is important for all young people to understand that it takes time to be successful in any endeavor. Start early, never quit, keep going, and lay up one brick at a time each day of your life. That's how you succeed at anything. You will reach your goals no matter how many bad days you have. The bad days will pass into obscurity, and you will achieve goals you never imagined when you started. The more effort, the better your success.
That was very well said! It takes so much time and effort to do something big. And it includes making a lot of mistakes and feeling embarrassed along the way. Most people quit right there.
Loved your “prank” videos, although I personally don’t see them as pranks. Your just surprising people speaking in their native languages. What’s also interesting is just seeing the real life interactions and environment of people in your videos that as Americans we might not be used to. Please keep these type of videos coming. I think you can really grow your channel with them if that’s your goal. Thanks :)
joe smith Yeah, it’s kind of similar to pranks or more just me being silly. This video was just interactions with no silliness. I don’t normally look for a reaction in real life. It can sometimes be quite annoying when trying to do day to day things. Like I just want to buy a soda, can we not have a reaction to me speaking Chinese just buying a soda. Lol more videos to come soon!
This is getting crazy. I'm binge watching all these videos during work, after work, during my lunch break. Your personality is magnetic. Great job on the videos and the editing. Thank you for being such a kind human being
Wow, that you for your wonderful comment!!! That made my day.
I've recently been obsessed with laoshu50500 & xiaomanyc videos, then you popped up, now I have a 3rd TH-camr, yay! Subscribed 🎉
Glad to be part of the family! I'm new to youtube.
@@OrientalPearl I noticed, I was expecting a few hundred thousand subs but was very mistaken. You'll get there, you're already doing awesome. Just keep up the awesome vids like this!

@@RavenGG. Thanks I subbed.
If you like the Laoshu & Xiaoma style vids, 口语老炮儿马思瑞Chris does them as well and he lives in China. (Well, he's back in the states right now due to the circumstances.)
Wow, you speak both Chinese and Japanese. That's so impressive! How long have you been learning Japanese?
I started learning Japanese in 2015
Check out lashou videos too you will like
@@OrientalPearl Did you learn it by yourself or studied the language at a university? I'm trying to learn it myself but I'm not sure if it's worth it to go to college just for that.
@@OrientalPearl I'm curious to know you learned chinese and Japanese at the same time or around the same time and how did you manage it?
What motivated you to acquire two languages?
I'm learning mandarin ( for the last 2 months) and I plan on taking Chinese studies in school.
I also, picked up on a little Korean and plan on doing the same
This is a new to me.
Please share your journey.
@emirates247 watch videos that are native Koreans for pronunciation and learn from apps or even channels like jolly or billy korean. These are great, trust me because I've improved a lot within a week and now I've a basic korean. Fighting!
I like your channel best among the ones with language pranks. You’re not just a polyglot. You’re actually an interesting person with a bright future beyond youtube. I am fully invested in your career
Thank you so much for saying that! It means a lot because there are so many language prank videos out there. Please stay in contact.
Oriental Pearl You got it!!! ❤️
Very interesting how you’ve changed your body language as soon as you’ve started speaking japanese! Sugoi!
When you started speaking Japanese your gestures and everything became Japanese 😂😂😂
That shock and not shock perimeter is pretty interesting tho hhahaahhahahaha
Jay Rai It’s strange. I’m not evening thinking about it, it’s just a habit.
Oriental Pearl let’s jsut say Japanese is quite a culture
U are Stunning , decent and full of confidence in different perimeter. I want to learn the gesture, language etc became local people because it is hardly get mother tongue to second language for me
I've been speaking English in America for eight years now as a Chinese person. To this day no one's shown the slightest sign of surprise.
Lol
I'm amused of Americans speaking foreign languages and expecting admiration and applauses for that!
Few people are surprised to see a Han Chinese person speaking English.
But if a person with very distinctly African continent features spoke Mandarin and walked down the streets of San Francisco, you’d get looks all right... of respect and shock.
That's because we already know you're smarter than we are, and we got used to it a long time ago. Now we're just busy trying to rig the school system against you so that we can keep all the high-paying jobs.
We expect others to speak English here. If we accidentally compliment a native speaker of English, that's racist.
You did not disappoint and I really appreciate that you show the whole interaction and also the people who did not seem surprised. Open and honest thank you 😁
That's what I'm trying to do. Even if it costs me views.
No, I'm sorry but I'm astounded, oh my god!
I'm a Chinese language student at university while having Japanese as a minor and you're truly what I'd love to become. You're so inspiring!
I am lucky to already master English and French but, damn, it's gonna be long before I can speak like you!
You're amazing, truly amazing!
I'm so glad to hear from another person studying Chinese and Japanese. That's great that you know French and English too. You are a true polyglot.
That was a surprising outcome.
Thanks for sharing this video, I really enjoyed the conversation at the end. Keep up the good work! ✌🏽
Thanks for watching. I was surprised when I hit the publish button and a few minutes later there were a few hundred views. That has never happened on this channel before. lol
IM ETHNICALLY CHINESE BUT SHE SPEAKS WAY BETTER THAN ME OMG
Same-
Hahhaa ikr me too! We can’t relate
wow ... so mum and dad didn't teach you?
i am so bored sis! I am rewatching some vids now, thank you! your personality is such a joy to watch and you're such a great person and inspiration! thanks :)
Thank you so much for watching them again!!
Daaaaaaammmmmm! When she switched to Japanese it was like watching terrace house 😳👏
I was shocked :o She may add mt shocked to the counting
I just love how you can see there vlearly how the language you speak does impact your personality. I love that about languages! Speaking English I am way more confident for some reason than in my native tongue German. When speaking Mandarin I somehow feel more feminine I guess, because I associate the language with the way I was treated on dates and as a women in general but in a positive way cause usually I feel like a tomboy. Now I started to speak French, can understand it pretty well but only on the point of becoming fluent so I guess my "french character" still has to come out. Althou I do feel a lot less comfortable speaking that language as I don't like the sound of it. Lastly Inam picking up Portuguese since 2 months and can already do smalltalk and have the feeling I just feel like a really warm person. I don't know how to explain it but it's fascinating to seenon yourself and on others
Nino Circus Freak Same for me!! When I speak Georgian my voice gets deeper too and it seems a bit more casual when I talk. I don't know how to explain it.
Terrace house LOL WHOO..WHOO WhOo
@@JustLIkerapunzel I'm Chinese (thus Mandarin with fluency) and I speak English fluently, and yeah English gives me more confidence when I speak it. Now I've been learning Japanese as my second foreign language for half a year, hope I can keep it up XD. The influence of language on your personality is surely something interesting indeed...
+1 Shocked here. So fascinating to watch people's reactions. Keep these videos coming. So entertaining to watch!
Duy Nguyen You go it! I want to prank some Japanese high school kids next when they come up to me with an English survey.
I'm speechless. You earned my respect and my sub. Love from Germany 🤟
Hello Germany! I'm so glad that you joined the adventure. Welcome and stay in touch.
3:01 this part really shocked me. I love how you were able to switch on to flawless Japanese in instinct. You inspire me to keep on with my Japanese and chinese learning. Since im a Colombian American I know English and Spanish how cool would it be to learn 2 more.
Am I the only one who finds it satisfying when she switches from Chinese to Japanese?
I just came across your channel, I've been watching so many videos of Americans who surprise Chinese people by speaking Chinese, and those videos along with your videos are truly inspiring me to learn chinese! I love your channel already and look forward to watching as it grows!
Tyler Spear Welcome! Glad people feel like they want to learn after watching this. Everyone needs a little encouragement.
I’m on the same boat with “people think I look Russian”. All the time!!! 🤣
You are a linguist! Such difficult languages to learn but it’s so nice to be able to speak to different people in their own language, you can really immerse yourself in the culture that way.
Thanks for making this video! I definitely find videos like xiaomanyc entertaining but I like the realness of this.
Glad to hear it! I want to show a slice of life here in Asia.
So humble and genuine. Amazing languages you speak
So, your Japanese is also very good. That is amazing. I am currently learning Spanish. I will eventually learn Mandarin and Cantonese. I hope to one day be as fluent as you are
Cecil Warren wow, you are amazing! Keep it up! I failed at learning Spanish in high school. Didn’t try hard enough. You can learn any language with effort.
The first step is to try and you already have done that so I have no doubt you will be successful. Best of luck to you.
Cantonese is a dying dialect. I am a native Mandarin speaker. I've spent a little bit of my time learning Spanish, but I've never spent any time learning Cantonese, because it is dying. Most Cantonese speakers can also speak Mandarin, also the descendants of Cantonese speakers worldwide are learning Mandarin.
@@fengz-x7z Cantonese dying would be a reason to learn how to speak it, wouldn't it, to try and preserve it? I think it's a beautiful sounding dialect.
@@cecilwarren4587 You are a gem sir, millions of people speak Cantonese, an entire province of Guangzhou speak Cantonese and not only in China, outside of China as well. Places like Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Cambodia mostly speak Cantonese. The Chinese in Canada and all the major cities in America like New York, California, etc. speak Cantonese. So by saying it is a dying dialect is an insult to millions of people who speak the language.
I really like this channel. I watch a decent amount of youtubers who do similar content but yours seem more like genuine interactions rather than stunts for youtube views.
idontevengame1 Thanks so much. I want to do the videos in an authentic way. Sadly, it cost my channel a lot because it sat on TH-cam for 8 months with no views and didn’t get noticed until a few days ago. But I’m ok with that, even if it costs me views.
@@OrientalPearl Well I think your channel will blow up soon enough if you keep posting videos even semi consistently. I'll be here to watch them for sure.
I loved how you switch from chinesse to japanesse during a conversation. You and Xiaomanyc are very inspirational. Keep on doing these videos.

Absolutely - and Oriental Pearl doesn't major on repetition but actually IS fluent in both languages ;)
Absolutely - effortless transition! And Oriental Pearl doesn't major on repetition but actually IS fluent in both languages ;)
@@alisonkempster4229 I can do it with english, french and Italian. But Japanesse and chinesse seem harder.
This girl is AWESOME!!! She switched from Mandarin to Japanese without blinking. It takes me about 5 minutes to say Hello in either language.
Interesting! I'm in a similar situation right now. I'm in South Korea right now and I kind of agree with the results. I sometimes also use Chinese instead of Korean when I go to Chinese shops or restaurants. Sometimes people comment on my Chinese (I have befriended some shop owners because I speak Chinese lol), but many also often just take my order normally without any comments. Perhaps reactions are more extreme in Western countries where it is less likely that a "foreigner" will speak Chinese. Interesting topic regardless. Makes me want to test it out even more here in Korea.
安婕熙 Jessica That’s right! And as more people watch these prank videos I want them to know some people act totally normal. Be careful in Korea now. Stay safe.
I agree. Granted my Chinese is not a beautiful as this girls. But maybe in 4 more years it will be. People are not really shocked. They take it in their stride. I also speak Italian and Spanish. But Chinese really is suuuuuuuuuch a beautiful sounding language. So often in Korea or Vietnam or HK if English is bad I will use Mandarin and people are chill
Oriental Pearl Yo wtf you’re making Korea sound like it’s not as safe as Japan. It is.
Mikasa Ackermann her comment was written five months ago when Korea was experiencing the initial wave of Corona cases (highest number following China). I can guarantee that there was no malice in the comment! :)
You'd almost start studying Mandarin just by seeing this.
Lhasa Thailand I hope more people start!
Wow the accent is on point even the expression! Amazing
I must say, I really think that your vids come across as pretty real. I think your content is great. As a person that moved from their country to SEA, Its cool to see what other people are doing and sharing their experience of it too.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's harder to make videos than I thought, but I'm encouraged by comments like yours.
You are absolutly amazing being able to switch from one to another. Im very fascinated by language. I know Russian and German and a bit of Spanish. It would be awesome to know japanese or chinese

I would love to represent America.
I love that you showed a more realistic and authentic side to people’s reactions. Sometimes I feel like those “shocked that an American can speak another language” videos are just a slideshow to show off. People all around the world learn languages!
Thank you so much for understanding the purpose of this video. Many people just said "well that wasn't a very good prank." lol
got recommended some "foreigner speaks perfect chinese" videos from time to time and this is the first one I've seen that actually speaks decent Chinese, I was like FINALLY lol
I'm glad to hear that! I've lived in China for many years.
Great video! Keep them coming. I'm an older ABCer of the baby boom generation who grew up in middle America speaking mainly Canto and the cantonese variants of Taishan and Kaipinghua which was still spoken in most US Chinatowns during the 1960s and 70s. Took up Mandarin around 2007 but still have a long way to go to get to a comfort level of conversation. I'd be happy to get it to where I can speak it as well as Kaipinghua,
jay f That’s cool. Do you know mandarin too?
@@OrientalPearl Not enough to be fluent, but could probably get by if traveling overseas. If I visited southwest China in the Guangdong region, especially Kaiping(Hoiping) or Taishan, I'd be pretty comfortable.
I'm an Indonesian who likes languages and Japanese is one of my favourite one. Learning Mandarin a while back but quite struggling with the tones and all of those kanji letters. Now I'm into German and it's been wonderful. I've been watching Laoshu's and other poliglot's videos for quite some time now and find yours interesting. Would love to see more videos like this and in longer duration. Stay safe and healthy anywhere you are Pearl!

i’ve been studying mandarin for three years now! it’s shockingly easy to pick up on, but pronunciation and speed is SO DIFFICULT. i hope to study abroad in china for a bit or teach there to really solidify some speaking skills. i aspire to reach your level of fluency- it’s incredible 🤩
I encourage anyone studying Chinese to go to China to study abroad. It would help so much. I didn't pick up on anything easily. I have lived with Chinese roommates for 8 years. It helped.
if you happen to see this comment i would LOVE to know your recommendations on how to improve my mandarin (since I’m not in an immersive environment). movies? reading? whatever it is... i’m looking forward to your response! 😊

Your language skills are amazing. You are an inspiration, we should all learn another language. I just spent a year teaching in China, and the limited Chinese I used got instant reactions. I never understood why, I would value your opinion next time you do a video.
Johnny Lingo I think it depends on the situation. Older people and kids tend to react a lot. Also, were you in a smaller city in a China?
@@OrientalPearl yes I was in Keqiao a small town near Shaoxing. I wondered if they just dont expect foreigners to learn their language. They appreciate it when you make an effort. I think they are proud of their language and culture. I'm going to get my Chinese skills up, thanks for motivating me.

Alright! Great country. My mom and I visited last year.
@@OrientalPearl Apa Khabar , just saw your channel when i was watching Laoshu505000 channel and it recommend this channel, keep up the good work 加油!
Very enjoyable. I studied linguistics in college back in the day and learned japanese as my main. I have since forgotten most of it, but loved the people's reactions in Japan when I'd speak it.
Yes, I am sure many language TH-camrs are not submitting "non - reactions" which is fine in many regards, media like TH-cam only works with the sensational dopamine stimulating material. These channels are certainly stimulating more Americans to learn foreign languages, it is so much easier now with all these better modes of communication.
Camano man Thank you soooo much for understanding the point of the video. Some people didn’t get it.
I also think it depends on where you are. Where I live in China more people are surprised, but that's because I live in a really remote province so more people are surprised. Still a lot of people don't react.
That being said, whenever I go back to America, more people react and are surprised when I speak Chinese because it's much less common to see a non Asian looking person speaking Chinese in America.
Your Chinese, English, and Japanese are all pretty good
I've been learning those three languages too
and I can comprehend literally every word you've said
"I went with my boyfriend"
The guy: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
All the best dear! I love your videos! My in laws are Korean and I love and miss them so much! I also have a wonderful relationship with them so yes speaking to them in their language and living with them really helps ♥️ all the best dear
ah yes, i love going to japan just to go to a chinese book store to find a book talking to people in chinese and then ending up buying an american book translated from english to chinese
I don't you love when that happens lol
Thank you for giving us this context it is good to see it more naturally then just the edit freak outs.
That's what I wanted people to know. Just so everyone is clear I am setting people up and deleting non-reaction videos.
Your mandarin didn’t surprise me but your Japanese is so goood...... from a chinese. The pronunciation and phrases you use is almost perfect.
Wow the amount of comments and likes really went up with this video! So cool! I’ve seen a lot of language culture shock videos and yes. On most of them all people were like blown away. Your video shows quite a different picture.
My videos didn't set people up in a situation where they would be shocked. I wanted to prove that people act normal most of the time.
It's more interesting that I'm a Chinese studying in Australia watching a video about a American language genius keeps talking in Japanese and Chinese HaHa
Ironic isn't it? lol
I love how real this is! Its entertaining to see you speak languages with natives and the occasional gem. Its wonderful nevertheless!
Thank you! I hope people see that the pranks are setups. A lot of times people don't react at all unless you force a reaction out of them.

波蘭女孩x台灣男孩聊波蘭 That algorithm really kicked in this week. 200 subs last week, look how many there are now. I’m shocked.
@@OrientalPearl So sure you will get more and more subs :)
They aren't surprised because you use the mannerisms of the language you use I think
Or maybe because I acted normal and didn't set them up for a prank. If you set them up, they are more likely to react.
its amazing how you speak all 3 languages - english, mandarin, and japanese with such ease!
Omg... I cant speak mandarin as good as you. And im Chinese lol
Ha ha, no way. You are being too nice. lol
You inspire me to keep working hard on my japanese! Maybe one day I will see you on the streets of Japan! Thank you and keep up the amazing work!
You might! I've been wondering if I head back to Ikebukuro one day if I'll finally get spotted.
That was a great experiment. I always wondered about the authenticity of those types of videos.
Do you think it's the same with laoshu50500? I think Chinese people may be surprised that he speaks Chinese since he's black, and that's often the first time they've talked to a black person in Chinese.
Daniel Billingslea Thank you so much. No one is going to watch a video that doesn’t get a good reaction. Setting someone else up for a prank where you pretend you don’t speak Chinese, or have some funny situation will make it easier to shock people. What they do is not necessarily faking you out, people sometimes react that way especially if you jump out and surprise them. But viewers are being mislead to think that everyone will react that way. And they only upload the most ridiculous reactions. If everyone acted like that every time I opened my mouth in China and Japan, I would move. Lol
Oriental Pearl have you watched laoshu50500? You should do a reaction video to him and rate his chinese
That would not be very nice of me. I don't want to tear other people down. I just want to have fun doing pranks and also teach people about China and Japan.
Oriental Pearl only reason I suggested was because I’ve seen people say he only knows certain key words and even sells programs. Either way, its so nice of you to have that mindset. #Blessyourheart
These conversations are great. I admire you so much 🤓
Your next challenge is to learn Dutch...;-) Would yo be able to?
Wim Franken If I could live forever, I would learn every language on the planet. Dutch would be a fun one. Maybe people would think I’m Dutch if I spoke it.
You’re so talented in knowing Japanese and Chinese. I myself is learning Korean as my 3rd language. You’re my inspiration :D
Thanks so much. I'm very interested in learning Korean too, but am still not sure about making that commitment.
Add me to the shocked ones! Impressing and I have completely not a clue on how to learn Chinese or Japanese, not even in 8 years in the Country. Or other. Your are fantastic!
Thanks so much. To be honest I didn't do it on my own. I had a lot of help from teachers and tutors.

i like that u said ur silly but in fact very intelligent and hard working, support u💪
That's very nice of you. Thanks.
Your japanise pronunciation is so amazing!!!!! I love it!!!!!
Oh thank you!
@@OrientalPearl jajaja :)
You inspire me :)
Just awesome! It just shows you how accepting the world can be when you make the effort to appreciate other cultures. FYI, as a born and raised New Yorker (1st Gen Chinese American) I still will get comments here and there about how 'impressive' my English is, and it really offends me. This world needs more people like you to show the world how we are one!
That's what many people said. Sometimes it's nice just to fit in.
You can add my shock count. I was actually more elated when you started speaking Japanese. Even though I do not understand either of the language, it is amazing to hear you speak it! All I know is English, Tagalog, and maybe 60-70% Spanish.
You are very talented! Tagalog is a hard language. I went to the Philippines and they tried to teach me a few words. It was hard.
I love the fact that you speak both Mandarin and Japanese fluently!
I like you and you are very honest too! Not just going for the ":reaction." Your video was interesting and you are right, I would imagine some people don't think it is a big deal. But I am very fascinated and wish I had that skillset
pappysprite Thank you for understanding what I was trying to do. Some people didn’t get it at all.
You speak Japanese too!? Wow, your channel is going to blow up for sure. So impressive. Just keep at it!
DKGaming I speak Japanese with a Chinese accent lol
Killin' it. You're gonna do very well. Especially if you did an english and Chinese intro / title version of the videos (double the views).
Greg Noblin Oh but I already did. Ha ha, look at the subtitles on TH-cam in the right hand corner. Also, did you see all the Chinese and Japanese comments coming in? Lol I didn’t tell anyone this here, but I went to business school :)
@@OrientalPearl Most excellent!
中国語も日本語もこんなに話せて凄すぎです! いろんな人とコミュニケーション出来て羨ましいです😊
Here before you blow up! Awesome video 😁
i like your personality as a whole when you speak Japanese, it's like your power reading of cuteness and adorability went over 9000!
Chinese is still impressive but your approach is like direct, straightforward, on-point, and just small talk. Japanese is quite the opposite. Then again, you're speaking with someone with common experience and interest as you haha
sugoiiiiiiiiii!
Test Test It’s so true, if I talk Japanese style in China, no one will listen. It’s too soft.
