    I use a 9x9 baking pan from the dollar store that I lay on a towel filled with soapy water next to me to put all my stencils in. If I want to reuse one it’s easy to take out, and dry it on the towel I leave the end of sticking out from under the pan. Works fabulously!

    “I’m even wearing plaid” hysterical! I love your channel! And wow have you broken out of your mold!!! Good for you my friend! The studio looks fabulous and I did a whole bunch of work in mine this weekend. I can’t afford the type of stamp studio (that’s what I call my happy place), that I would so much prefer, with things all tucked away behind doors and I’m drawers, but did the best I could to give my feet room to work more comfortably at my inking, painting, die cut table. I put up some black storage shelves. Bought a smaller size cube unit from Target for my laminating station for $65 with 3 storage bins, and rehung 3 shelves I had down for years since my last failed attempt at taking over my sons old room. It’s great for what I can do. Btw, SBC’s roll of sticky tape in the 6” roll is fabulous for sticking down the seam where 2 area rugs meet! Mines in the basement which isn’t finished so no harm to the floor! Lol enjoy transforming your space!

    I am not a fan of "shadows" behind die cut words...the white shadow, I think it takes away from the actual word. But I do understand some think it pops the word out from a busy background. So, I was wondering if you'd consider showing a word die cut with and without a shadow sometime.. I do think you are great at placing the little embellishments...and I am paying attention 🙂 You're one of the few that I've found that really gives this any importance!

    Creative cards! I’ve got to use my mica sprays. Question: when you are splattering your white ink with your fan brush is it wet or damp prior to dipping your brush in the ink? I have the same fan brush but mine, no matter how I load it, never separates into the little clumps on the brush tips. It stays in a solid fan shape, if you know what I mean. It does not make splatters the way other fan brushes do. I don’t know why stupid splatters are so hard for me😂

    • @czdesign
      @czdesign  ปีที่แล้ว

      I do add a bit of water to the paint… and then sometimes I spray the brush first too! I always tap some off on the box above the card to not get TOO much blobby splatter!

    It makes me sad how little stamping/scrapping stuff that Michaels and
    JoAnns carry these days. Shopping online is fun, but I loved going into the stores and seeing everything in person and being able to touch and play. My local Michaels has turned mostly into kids crafts and vinyl for making drink tumblers. And the paper section isn’t 10% of what it used to be. 😔😔😔

      I do miss wandering my local scrapbook store. We used to have a fabulous one called Binding Memories. SO good.

    Cathy, rather than putting tape inside your card to have them flat, could you just unfold the card to have it flat or is the fold going to make that too difficult to have flat? Thank you for always sharing with your viewers. Audra

      I know I could do that but… when I'm working, I like to see the finished space, strange as that sounds. Having it open would throw off my eye. : )

      That doesn't sound strange at all. Everyone has their own way to do things. Thanks again for sharing. Audra

    What is the difference between the grit paste and the lunar paste? Besides the gritty sound...lol

      I think Lunar is much smoother! More like a mousee texture. I just got some and hope to play soon!
