HEAT (1995) - Dir. Michael Mann is the definitive heist film; it's brilliant. Probably top 3 of his films imo.
During the Movie tie-in craze in the early 2000's, a small game company called Gearbox Software wanted to adapt it. Helmed by Randy Pitchford, they started out by making half life DLC's and small scale shooters. But they wanted more. They were extremely ambitious, taking on three projects at the same time, including one about an alien and the colonial marines. All of them massive scale. But would this be their downfall?
Can they adapt heat to the flat screen?
