    Suleiman's heart Suleimaniye gets opened. Hurrem has one last wish from Suleiman. As Hurrem gasps her life out in Suleiman's arms, the life loses its meaning for Suleiman.
    At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
    The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
    As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

    I still love to watch excerps from this series. It was my first turkish series and it prompted me to visit Turkey. Istanbul and see Top kapi palace, the harem and the numerous mosques. What an amazing experience it was!

      It's real poetry written by Suleiman and Hurrem to each other during their lives

      Suleiman wrote poetry and used the pen name Mubibi even before he met Hurrem. Hurrem for her part learned of Suleiman's love of poetry so she did her best to express her love through poems. I think that's what set her apart from the other concubines and what made Suleiman fall for her deeply. No other concubine has shared his love for written words before Hurrem came into his life. It's good that those written manuscripts by Suleiman and Hurrem were saved and can be read by people 500 yrs after they both wrote it. 😊

    I always saw that magnificent kings always got jealoused or afraid of any genius persons ....these kings always got afraid of any person who are superior in their intellect.... instead of getting these people to higher level they tried to get them down like in this scene when Suleiman actually see intellect of sinan agha he gave him harsh words by dismissing him just for no reason only due to his intelligence....many centuries ago king Shah Jahan do similar thing he killed all the constructors of taaj mahal

    • @SHRAVS1012
      @SHRAVS1012 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Akbar wasn't the one who commissioned the construction of Taj Mahal, it was his grandson Shah Jahan. And the notion that Shah Jahan cut of the hands of the workers of Taj Mahal is now debunked by Indian Historians. He paid them so well making sure that they won't have to ever work for money, which became a weird of saying that he cut their hands off. The descendants of those workers still exist to this day and they help to maintain the Taj Mahal.

      I think we saw different scenes. Sulejman was angry because works took a lot more time than it was supposed to be. Although he listened Sinan's explanation, and it impressed him. But still it was too long, he gave him time but warned that it can't be forever.
