I feel like one of main differences between Kosem and Hurrem was that Ahmed gave Kosem everything quite quickly (the title of Haseki, Harem etc) and everyone already loved Kosem. But Hurrem had to fight everything and everyone (from being chosen as concubine, to Hasekis title, to giving birth and getting married) and had to face lot of people like Ibrahim,Valide etc

Hurrem and kosem both are my favourite one.i like the way they handle the situation,their confidence, and dignity.
Love this! Hurrem and Kosem are my favorite Sultanas. However. I do like Safiye in her own right, because she was raised and taught by Mirrhima, (who then took down Nurbanu, ugh- show Nurbanu).
Mirrhima learned at Hurrem's knee then to Safiye to Kosem.
Though I do like the walk scene, I would find it perfect for her to turn and see her crowned with Hurrem's crown.
Neither Safiye or Mihirmah never took down Nurbanu though. Nurbanu basically died of natural causes and Safiye filled up the power vacuum. The hate towards show Nurbanu is complete nonsense.

I kinda look at the hate of certain characters as they did their acting job well you know? I personally love the acting and stuff but as a historian I scoff and go that didn't happen all the time 😂

If Hurrem hadn't accomplished all that she accomplished as a concubine of Suleyman and set precedence for what can be achieved as a concubine of a Sultan if you're smart enough, Kosem wouldn't have had the opportunity to become Kosem. Give credit where it's due. Hurrem gave these women the opportunity to become something more than just breeding vessels.

But fact was - at least on the tv show- BOTH the ring & crown were exclusively forged for a historic precedent 😮
Kosem was more political in state matters. Hurrem was also good in ruling a country too but the show does not SHOW that. Wish they had kept that cool detail of hers.
