It looks like a beautiful boat, so I just need a win on the pools to buy one ! It may seem a bit expensive for what it is, but I'm sure that as in the past, 'deals' can be done - nuff said ! As a previous British Water Ski Federation water-ski instructor in the UK's Lake District on what used to be the then CCPR (Central Council For Physical Recreation) Water-ski courses, I had my own boat, which was also based on Lake Windermere. All up at 17+ feet in length & complete with a Chrysler 150HP outboard with power trim & tilt it cost around £15K.
Yes, Chrysler used to make great outboards, and if you used the 'right' 3-bladed propellor, they had more low-down 'grunt' than the equivalent Mercury, but used just a fraction of the fuel. I had a total of 3 ski boats over many years on Lake Windermere prior to the appalling imposition of a ludicrous speed limit, which had the so called "Friends Of The Lake District" leaping with joy, given their sole desire and intention over many years was to permanently ban, exclude, and stop the pleasure enjoyed by thousands of people every year. That ban created a vastly diminished income stream for many local businesses - cafes and restaurants, hotels, bed and breakfast premises, boat & engine sales and servicing, along with many types of skiing & diving equipment - and they ALL suffered because this ONE, 100%, totally selfish group of individuals wanted the WHOLE of the Lake District National Park district to themselves.
They'd already managed to remove the professionally run water ski club from Ullswater, despite the club's great relationship with the local sailing club over several years. ONE simple premise made this ban absurd and pointless on Ullswater, but did serve to illustrate that the FOTLD had fingers in many pies to pull this total ban off. Flat calm water is great for skiers, but no use for sailors if there's no wind. Vice versa - wind is great for sailing but little use to skiers - so no problem. In fact, on very windy days we (skiers) went sailing with the sailing club members ! However, "they," the FOTLD succeeded with the final nail in the coffin for water skiing. Despite all the lakes in the National Parks area already having speed limits of 10mph or so, this "mob" were determined, & succeeded, in removing powered water-sports in it's entirety from this ONE remaining, and hugely popular lake. People having powered cruisers with no interest in skiing along with jet-skiers ALL lost out thanks to the so called "FRIENDS" mob !
I had personally spent thousands of £pounds over many years on boats, engines, the equipment, & all of extra paraphernalia which was required for the sport - but finally, it was all to no avail.
However, now at the end of 2019, there might be a light at the end of the tunnel. There have been "moves" for quite some time to get this dreadful and overtly draconian ruling overturned, and to be shown up for the mischief-making it really was by the "few."
We remain hopeful that common sense will prevail, and the enjoyment for so many WILL return to OUR great Lake District !

Nice enough boat but £215,000 + VAT for a 40 knot bowrider - They gotta be joking!

Wow with the missing options (roof its the UK) going on for £250.000 its a lot of money seems expensive for what your getting and no Sunpad either ~ that EU ruling for extra 20% Tax on USA imports if taken off it would bring the price back down to £200.000 this with the missing options ~ then this would be a better value and really nice bowrider ~ that inboard petrol engine can it be swapped out for a diesel would double the fuel economy and still give same speeds, just saying (( this is the UK not USA were petrol is cheap)) otherwise nice review Jack!

Nice boat but seems a little pricey and that bi-fold door looks really annoying

It doesn’t really look like a 300k€ boat

great review as always. wind screen should slide not fold. dual consoles never get old but needs a macerator for the head compartment. heating and a/c should be standard. the type of seating material matters too. should not be sticky in the sun and should be heated in the wet. needs an ice maker, a top of the line freezer and refrigerator, an in hull storage for carry on cooler that fits flush, a Sea Keeper Gyro etc etc. don't even get me started on electronics..

A/C.... You’re going to be trying to dehumidify the whole of the Solent. And as for heating this boat is not going to see cold weather that’s just a fact. Bow riders are great for the likes of Lake Havasu but give it any chop and all the kids in the front and you’re going to have a very unhappy family.
You might have guessed it’s a bit too twee for me.

250.000 pounds🤣🤣🤣 for a speedboat??? My god, do they think they are building Riva’s there in the USA? Shameless pricetag

It's simply what that fit & finish costs these days.
You try building a cheaper Chris Craft but with the same fit & finish.
