that's awesome you used a hive tool to make a mic! Very clever!!!!
Gotta give the stream team the credit i seen then soing it awhile back and it made sense to do
@BrentWellsTeamAwesome it's not a mic its a handle that a mic is attached to.
Handing a little itty bitty mic to people kept turning out kind of awkward… I saw Greg from the streamteam attaching it to a hive tool and thought it was genius! So I can’t take the credit but I thought it was pretty funny too! 🤣
Ban herbicides to homeowners, require pesticides license, ban herbicides in parks, school, any public grounds. Reward homeowners (tax breaks?) for planting pollinators and allowing dandelions, clover etc to grow in their lawns. Enlist state extension/master Gardeners.
Good video, I am in the UP only a little over a hour from Hansen Honey excellent store they have everything you need for your bees and they do sell Queens and they have Caucasian Queens you don't see many suppliers selling them they overwinter so well for me up here. Keep your videos coming you sure came a long way from when you started .
Looks like it was a great show. Will have to try and head down there next year.
You should, it'd be fun to finally meet ya!
Fake Honey? if it is from bee's its huney. What are you calling FAKE Huney?
@michdax7627 that's not how that works.. do you keep bees may i ask?
@@theterriblebeekeeper7435 thats not an answer define what FAKE Huney is. Then maybe I'll answer your question?
@michdax7627 Adulterated/fake honey is honey that has been mixed with another substance, usually a cheaper sweater.. like idk if I were you, this wouldn't be the hill I'd Troll on.. but to each their own..
@ gen z can't take a question. anyone that questions what a person said is a troll. In my day if you say something you better be able to , defne it , back it up, prove it. your the one with the knowledge. I ask a question and you make me the demon by calling me the troll because you can't back up what you said. Im no troll just a person with a question. your the one with the slurs
@michdax7627 you avoided my question in ur little rant.. do you keep bees?
Members of the UF/IFAS Honey Bee Research and Extension Laboratory conducted a research project that led to a publication on determining the effective dose for oxalic acid (OA) vaporization in honey bee colonies. These were done in single 10 frame brood boxes.
Key findings: In general, colonies that received the highest dose of OA via vaporization (4 g) had lower Varroa infestations than those that received lower doses.
Colonies that received 4 g of OA via vaporization showed significantly lower Varroa infestation rates than those that received 0 g and 1 g
Repeated applications of 2-4 g of OA via vaporization significantly decreased mite load
The current label rate of 1 g OA per brood chamber was ineffective at reducing Varroa populations, even after repeated applications
No significant negative impacts on colony health were detected at any dosage, including the repeated dosage of 4 g OA
