The most truely informative videos I've watched on altars on YT to date. Adore the "Word Witch" in you, nice to see some one who knows & understands why it's called "Spelling". I also love how you link everything up historically, as well elementally. Keep this kind of content up as you clearly are a keeper of the History's & Mystery's. You are going to be an incredibly powerful crone one day who may indeed be a well spring for the seekers of the true form of magical arts.

LOVE the alternative altar names. Such a well thought out and put together video that touches on a ton of nuances. As someone who’s just starting to put together an altar…this vid is a fantastic resource!!

Naming is so important. Thank you for this. Very much. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have not had access to my altar/personal space in which to practice for 6 months. Things resolve themselves next month and I will be renewing my altar. So much good info here. Highly inspirational.

Thanks so much for your kind words! Wishing you a speedy resolution and hope you enjoy the altar/personal space renewal process when it comes.

Really nice discussion Lee. And I love your altar. 🙂 I keep multiple altars too. One is the fixed all-year altar and the others keep changing based on the workings I do. I also feel like sometimes the altars build themselves. They make themselves known and reach out to us about any items that may be missing, once we start assembling them. I've also found that in my practice, making offerings directly to the natural bodies outside, is a great way to keep my altars inconspicuous when people are around and I need to not have physical offerings to keep my craft a secret. Plus, there have been times when I've completely disassembled my altars entirely and spent an entire year without an altar. It was a different and interesting experience working without an altar. 😃

Love this take! Thank you for your insights! Love the concept of Altars making themselves! So true. I also like a nice inconspicuous outside altar. There's a handy stump at a local tree I put birdseed on at the solstices and equinoxes.

this is such a great video! I've always had an issue with the idea of altars and don't have one but I'm feeling less hostile to it now
