I doubt the Creator of this video reads many comments, given the amount of viewers -- but my comment is pertinent to everyone:
The last 5 minutes the narrator alludes to our dependence on consumerism being our 'chains to the current kings', and he is wholly correct!
I am in my 70's and recall many conversations with my mother (who recently passed peacefully at 102 of OLD AGE). She recounted that during the depression, THOSE WITH SMALL FARMS & who bartered with those of the same, survived just fine!
Families remained together -- her mom & dad had 9 children, and her Aunt/Uncle had 3. They had a small 2 bedroom house - the parents had the bedrooms and shared it with the youngest children, either in a homemade child's bed, or in their bed. Occasionally 1 or 2 on floor mats. The older children slept in the living room - on 3 old, unmatching couches and a large chair, or mats on the floor.
They ate very well - they had chickens, eggs, fresh cows milk, and a year round garden. They bartered their vegetables, eggs, and milk for BEEF and bread flour. Going to a store was RARE.
They had a well that never ran dry.
They sewed and repaired torn clothes and always had hand me downs... And swapped with neighbors.
Work was shared and even the youngest (4yrs) had her own chores. They had one claw foot bathtub inside, a tub outside, and outside makeshift shower - or in the hot months, a 1 acre pond that my grandpa & the 8 boys dug themselves, to cpature the stream behind their home. Ultimately, they spent 2 years building another log cabin and 2 extra out houses.
(My mom married in 1940 and had 2 boys, 2 girls. We still had our own garden & chickens, she made us girls clothes, boys shirts, darned socks, knitted blankets, made our curtains, and was still making our bread, noodles, and cookies in the 50's, 60's, 70's- for her 4 children! I never knew of a store bought - boxed - frozen meal from a store!)
During WW2, our GOVERNMENT STRONGLY URGED "LIBERTY GARDENS & COMMUNITY GARDENS" TO FEED YOUR OWN FAMILY & TOWN!
    Moral of the story -
In the 1960's, my mother was very concerned over GOVERNMENT OVER REACH & LEGISLATION OF **MORALITY LAWS**; ALL MANNER OF FEES & PERMITS FOR BUILDINGS & REGULATIONS TO HALT FRONT YARD GARDENS, the PROHIBITION OF CHICKENS & THE LIKE "IN TOWNS". She was very concerned over FAST FOOD, DRIVE IN QUICK MARKETS, STORES ON EVERY BLOCK POPPING UP! And... "Main Streets" with clothing stores, eateries, theatres, etc".
She warned me: "DEPENDENCE ON GOVERNMENT AND THEIR CONSUMING STORES -- FOR "LIFE" --
    WILL KILL HUMANITY !"

Do you know what all those descriptions remind me of? The Rohirim, from Tolkien. People often consider them to be "horse riding saxons", but the more you described them and their culture, hell even their burial grounds, it all matches - they are not merely Saxons, but Scythians. They are meant to represent the very craddle of the Aryan peoples.
Professor Tolkien was a lover of myths and history, in a manner I think few people will ever be able to match, and the true story you are uncovering now is perfectly personified by his representation of the people of the Riddenmark.
It just makes me appreciate his work, and our history, for now I see how much he truly loved Western Civilization.
God bless you for this series, may He have mercy, and thanks for your hard work.

Exactly. And the mordor with its speak was german lang ;) Moria was Moravia & Boromir is a purely slavic name. Nietzsche had many sentences describing how he hates german culture - or more precisely that it lost its inviduality & soul & savage nobility. To the point of comparing with polish nobles, partially his ancestors, with that bold chaotic freedom loving attitude. But sadly it only characterised nobles (who had ancient sarmatian tamga's in coat of arms) & slavs living in struggle - in mountains, on sea or in forests (keeping royal wild honey tree heaves & shooting thieves & with privelege of taking off hats only in face of King and nobody else!).

So it's not quite politically-correct in today's environment, but I'll just state it outright, as the truth matters infinitely more than the adherence to the absurd transitory/ephemeral cultural whims of our age:
I believe the best representatives of the Royal Scythian element, the 'true Scythians', were those who poured into Europe in earnest between 500 B.C. and just after the birth of Christ (but had been trickling in starting *long* before), taking advantage of the same wagon-based mobility and pioneering instincts, using the same horse breeds and similar weaponry and leaving similar burial mounds and artistic remnants in their wake, with similar clothing and armor and customs and traditions and worldview.
It's stated by several historians that the further outward the Scythian tribes were from the central/Royal element, the more wild and 'rough' they tended to be. These outer tribes seemed to be less strict with regards to caste structure and intermixture with peoples they conquered, which I believe gave rise to the Huns and Mongols, among so many others.
I hope this initial foray isn't too controversial, and I hope we might avoid that particular brand of superficial and petty nationalism which causes so many nations to consider Scythians to be wholly their own. More than any other people in the historical record, they defied the concept of national boundaries, and would've likely laughed at arbitrary lines drawn on a map.
I've been enjoying and highly recommend Jordanes history of the Goths (in audio form here: th-cam.com/video/uaQs9vyCKK0/w-d-xo.html), a brilliant in-depth history that covers quite a bit I wasn't able to cover here, and will be working on putting together a proper larger reading list to publish in the future.
In the Scythians we're granted a gift of a tie-that-binds, a unifying element as opposed to divisive, and the more one digs into who/what they were, the more one finds source-traces of all of us, and nearly every western nation and culture.
There's a great deal more to get to on this topic, some of it quite explosive, but (barring a major change in plans) in the next video we'll be looking at another high-point in western culture/history, ancient Greece, especially Hellenic and Spartan, and Troy.
In closing, a favored quote I wasn't able to include... a Scythian response to a very frustrated Darius:
"...for we Scythians have no towns or planted lands, that we might meet you the sooner in battle, fearing lest the one be taken or the other wasted. But if nothing will serve you but fighting straightway, we have the graves of our fathers; come, find these and essay to destroy them; then shall you know whether we will fight you for those graves or no. Till then, we will not join battle unless we think it good."
Choose your battles, seek to fight them on your terms, and always have a firm red-line you refuse to allow your opponent to cross without recourse.

There's too much misinformation in this video. It seems like everyone and their mothers are decendants of Scythians, as long as they speak some Indo-European. They don't need to share any of their culture, mythology, fighting styles or even principles, as long as they're Western Europeans, they get the stamp of approval.
Washing the Celtic and Scythian cultures together only serves to muddy the waters more. These were separate cultures who co-existed beside one another in peace for centuries, before the so called indo-Europeans made their first appearance.
Just who were these famous Indo-European nomadic horse-archers with their golden stag mythos? They sure as sh1t weren't the heavily armored goth / teutonic knights, nor the Saxon longbowman, nor the phalanxing Hellenics, nor the Odin worshiipering axe wielding naval army from the North.
Meanwhile the Huns and Mongols just copied the famed recurve bow from these Indo-Europeans, who have since forgotten how to use them. Are you fn kidding me? Some more Hapsburg propaganda.
Nations of Iran and Turan, it's time to unite once more and overturn this mercentile paradigm that has been thrust upon us by these so-called Indo-Europeans and their overlords.

Yet another thought provoking, masterful work. Thank you Asha.
And to the points brought up contrasting us with them, go ask people what they value. They're likely to say their children's health or family or friends. Ask again. Say of course you value those things but what are your values. Perhaps you'll hear honesty and hard work mentioned. The idea of values DETERMINING your lifestyle, rather than lifestyle allowing for values is alien to them. Most westerners are completely unaware that there is anything else. The idea of a high trust society is becoming increasingly foreign to them. The idea that people actually used to believe in something more than themselves; that honor was an actual thing seems preposterous.
Yet, to use a cheap and obvious metaphor, the darker things get the more valuable and sought after the light becomes. I'm assuming the horse is some sort of Fiord pony, about 15 hands or so, which means that a average sized man riding this kind of horse, would have his feet reach just below the belly of the horse. @@richardkean5940 genetic studies prove something different, and Assyrians helped Israel or built it after conquering Egypt, it was their buffer state keeping Egypt weak in check. When Assyria got weak Israel got more steam flourishing until Egypt waked up and another chain reaction rebuilt Assyria back. All moves in cycles. Babilonians were better known for moving tribes around - what worked but later became their end. Kind of reminds the example of Rome and moving germanic tribes in what worked until became their end. Israel fell as a second act after wiping by Romans their sibling state of Cartagne/Chanan. Romans didnt like the commercial empires. Scythians even more. Thats why they kept Greece in isolation. What the heck European genes do in ancient South America? Native Americans have mitochondrial DNA A, B, C, D and not H, U, and others from our part of the world. Also Native Americans have 100% blood type O. The skulls from Paracas have A, B, AB, and O. I am dead curious to find out about Y markers. I am an R for example.

We are Wolga Deutsch, the Russian army drove into our cities because all our signs were in German as our cities had nothing but Germans in them as well. We came because of "Catherine the Great" gave us free land in Russia when she took over the country. Stalin tried to wipe us off the map and sent a large army to bring us to Siberia gulag. We fought till the death and many escaped we went to Germany, 100 of us went to Washington state and started the apple orchards in eastern Washington creating the famous Washington Apple! In my family all enter into the military male and females, most Wolga's are simular to our thinking.
