I sold my Minipress and went with the LR32 set up, to save some space - no regrets so far. I got a 'set', but it was in between the two options you showed. Came with the plate, the parallel fences with stops, mandrel and the stops for the guide rail. No systainer, clamps or bits. I'll double check, but pretty sure you can still use the parallel fences with a rebated side panel, as the stops that register against your edge can slide up and down. I really like your method with the rail square👍

@lincolnbrown1904 yes I forgot about that option! Not too bad price wise either as the clamps are always handy! Do you know what you are probably right about the reference fence! It’s been a while since I have seen them. My money is a always on the block of timber tho😂. Here’s a thought! Why didn’t they make the plate symmetrical and the fence so that in clicks in the holes as well? That’s way it’s stop an edge reference ! I just feel like the least amount of bits you have out on your next the better especially when it’s so quick then you need to turn the rail.
I am on the fence with the mini press!
      Thanks for watching

Nice tip on the 25mm distance from edge to centre of the bit, I'll try to keep that in mind.
I feel I have been getting the 'slop' issue on the holes as you mentioned when I've changed directions when plunging the holes. I do use the height guide and the front / back edge spacer guides as well. As you say I also very rarely make the same cabinet size twice between jobs so it's always a bit of a setup procedure.
But it does work well for sure, until you forget to add an 18mm spacer (internal upright) like it did today and had to remake a whole panel 🤓

Yeah as I recorded the mentally overexposed🤦🏻‍♂️ video I realised that just putting a sticker on the board with an arrow on is the easiest way round avoiding the slop which can creep out and cause wobble.
I have done what you did to today before and similar errors. A good system is to do all your holes then trim the middle uprights afterwards. Actually try this with most things as it makes the cut list less complicated initially! especially when I am putting solid wood lips on some panels. Really long winded cut list often just make me stair into space for hours😂
      Cheers for tuning in.

You just saved me a lot of money. I was going to buy the entire LR32 kit. By the looks of it's unnecessary.
    Thanks

In my eyes yes! My kit actually fits in the of1400 router box too! If you buy it which I do recommend remember to always travel the router in the same direction. Key but info that!
      Thanks for watching 🙏

@@Wattsjoinerybarnthat is an excellent tip. I would be driven mad by wobbly shelves. I haven't seen a video on the LR32 explaining this occurrence. Tolerance buildup is a thing that doesn't get talked about.

How well does that sticks like s**t work on timber? Iv never thought of using it for that. Also what make is that edge bander?... Great work as always!

Hi Dan Tbh I have never had a problem with this, fix all or Stix all. However I do find that gripfill solvent free and the own brand solvent free grab adhesives are crap tho! Sometimes I do pva but not when on primed surfaces as it won’t hold.
The edge bander is just a bench top hot air one from Scott and seargant. There are some Chinese knock off ones that are very similar too and tbh I imagine perform just aswell! For me it’s perfect but if I did wardrobes all the time I would get a hot glue one! If you get a system you can actually fly through the edge banding with this.
if your local to Northants, Cambridgeshire area you could always come and give it a try! For the money I thinks it’s great!
      Thanks for watching
