Still no proper release date? Then I’m still not interested honestly it’s just getting ridiculous now
You can play it now
@@currycontroller256 He's probably referring to the completed retail release. Most people don't want to play an alpha version of the game that is missing large amounts of content and core gameplay systems, even if what is available can be impressive.
To be fair, most of their team has been focused on Squadron 42, the single player component. It was only this past year where a lot of the team moved back over to work on Star Citizen.
squadron 42 was always gonna release first anyway, its in 2026.
@@RareCandyTCGwe know that there's more staff allocated towards Star Citizen, but so far it hasn't really been proven that it has increased productivity (not to the amount that was suggested at CitizenCon 2023). Nevertheless: really awesome game!
I can’t find it on the ps5 store.
It’s only on PC. There’s no way you actually think a console could run this, right?
You are not missing anything 😂
@@definitelynotthefbi4412 the ps5 pro duhhhh
It just looks good in trailer. You will get completely different experience when you play the game. And that's bad experience.
I love this game
Prepare for all your equipment, ship and 45 minute prep work to be taken by a griefer in 3 seconds assuming a bug doesn’t crash your game beforehand.
Save yourself the aggravation and try again next year.
They need to work on the game optimization....
I played this out recently operating lifts to get your ship. It is still 50.50. the chance doors won't open delivery missions, still hit and miss. This is after the year waiting .. they keep introducing new things but old problems still there.
Delivery missions aren't in 4.0.
@Billy-bc8pk so they removed it??? It's been ages and not really up to date what's in or out of the game.
4.0 is much more stable though.
@@Soulkeeper-tv8re Not necessarily removed, but now you can find small box delivery contracts in the Hauling tab, they're now called small or extra small hauling contracts.
@@Soulkeeper-tv8re They had to refactor all of the missions for server meshing, so only select missions are available in 4.0 at the moment: hauling, bounty hunter, service beacons, mercenary, and salvage.
they got like 1500 employees, has been in alpha stage for years, and raised over $700 million. And yet they still cant fix their damn elevators, the random “blocked” doors in the hab rooms. Or even have the fame rate running at least 30fps without an expensive PC. But hey at least they are giving us ships that are gonna get nerfed eventually so they can sell you a new ship later on.
Coming in 2035
Wut is that game? that's like No Man Sky and Astroneer or Eve?
Kinda. Basically fully open universe/no loading screens space sim. I tell people it's what people imagined Starfield was going to be.
It's more akin to Elite Dangerous, the closest out of your choices would be No Man's Sky. I treat it as GTA Online in space, although it's pretty barebones for now, I'm having tons of fun in it!
If you're interested I highly suggest waiting for a FreeFly event (basically a timed free to play period, varying from a long weekend to about two weeks), they happen around every 3 months, use it to get a taste of what it is and if it runs on your hardware (don't forget to use someone's referral code when creating an account, both parties can get ingame bonuses when doing so, so if you have a buddy that plays, ask them for theirs or you can ask for mine or I suggest using Loudguns')
GREATEST GAME EVER
This games never coming out, when it does expect another cyberpunk.
4.0 is already out :)
IGN BE LATE
I never have any clue where the heck this game is going 😂
Show me a trailer about fixing major bugs, then I’ll be impressed.
Someone tell me? Is this a playable game?
yes. everything you see is what you get....plus some bugs. But the game is amazing.
Yes it's in alpha right now. You can play it right now actually, but just be warned a lot of the core gameplay systems and loops aren't in yet, and it's prone to glitches/crashes.
This game will never have a full release, huh?
play it after base building is out that's when it is really worth the price now its just an explorer shooter and looter game with some piloting and great visuals but when the base building comes out properly this thing's gonna be lit
@@prestonjacobs8749course it will, you have to make the cake first
HL4 will release before this game
Leaked release date is year 2945
Pay To PlayTest®: The Game. Coming soon™
Plz bring this to PS5
Out of beta?
Beta what kind of beta Star Citizen has not even reached the beta phase but is still in the alpha...
The video says Alpha 4.0. And if my Greek alphabet knowledge is good, that would be a no.
Lets not start a tenth project and maybe get the first three done.
A reminder - Over a decade and 3/4 of a billion dollars. With a B.
I am wondering why IGN keeps giving this game attention
It's almost here🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
Its still a buggy mess sometimes but way better than its ever been and when it works....Nothing matches it
I'd be able to make some actual money if I can stop dropping and losing my cargo on the ground.
Still a BROKEN game
And not a single loading screen in sight
"Alpha 4.0" is hilarious. Almost a billion dollars in funding and you're still in alpha.
Yes.
Almost a billion dollars in funding, still in alpha, but much more fun than 99% of all other released games.
It's a bug simulator but not the fun kind.
This scam still going on? I finished high school, college and about to finish my master's degree soon and this game isn't officially released yet. I better up my game and find a spouse and have kids so that it can be released during my grandchildren's generation.
Just play No Mans Sky. The developers really care about their game and it's really good since the dozens of free updates they released
@@Katzenfutterr Already am, I was a NMS day 1 player, sadly only 200+ hrs (too busy irl) the devs never gave up, each update is free, no subscription payment, I come back every now and then.
Yes games take time to make, who knew
@@QuotidianStupidity If all AAA games took even half the time that CIG have been working on producing what is so far a very small part of what was promised, there'd be no games industry.
@ most AAA games are shite, they launch with issues that need to be patched and cost hundreds of millions to make by companies that already have teams in place, engines in place etc.
How long did Cyberpunk, Red Dead, Elder Scrolls 6 or GTA 6 take?
All established studios
Advertising a beautiful wrapper. But the game will never be released and will remain in alpha
Of course it will, what daft comment
@@QuotidianStupidity You're the only one stupid here.
Everything shown is already in game and playable.
@@sdrkrm But it's all bugged. There are so many bugs in the game that it's impossible to play it.
@@Cyb11893 impossible? So how 200 000+ players play it daily then, lol. Also SF had much more bugs at launch than SC now.
still in alpha!? after all the millions they've gotten and still milking their player base for more money just to put out previews for alpha builds is crazy.
