      1200 W at 91 % efficiency is 27 amps from battery. Do you think, that this thin nikel stripes can handle 27 amps in hot summer +38 *C all time till 47 V at battery terminals ?

  •  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +21

    I dont think you can't get more professional than this. Narration, layout, camera angle, sound... Everything is wonderful.

    • @PavolFilek
      @PavolFilek 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, 2 temp sensors, and what will BMS do, if one of 70 cells get hot over 140 *C, SOC will be 100 % and thermal runaway will begin in midnight time, when people are in bed and near bed is ebike ? Ebike starts to produce H2, CO, CO2, HF, C2H2, CH4 etc. One spark and all house go to heaven.

    I have built & bought several ebikes, currently rebuilding 2 that were damaged by flood waters from hurricane Ian in Florida and a new BBSHD fat bike build. Mechanically I can pretty much repair or replace anything on a bike, but that battery build blew me away. Very impressive.

    • @PavolFilek
      @PavolFilek 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, I have a question. What disc and brakes you used ? SHimano, Avid, Hope, Magura ? Mechanical or hydraulic ? If hydraulic, what fluid ? DOT 5.1 or mineral oil ? 180 203 mm ? 2 mm thick ? What is stopping distance at 45 km per hour with full loaded ebike ?

    I believe 1200watts on bbs02 is its peak power but only when using 52v battery, 48v doesn't hit peak watts on 750w, i had a bbshd with 48v and its peak watts were a shy over 1000watts but when i use my 52v i can get up to 1500watts.

    Was also wondering about a conversion , the only thing doing it after is always the cable management, always no matter how or you need to run additional cable runners or have a frame with inner tubing and lots of free space , nevertheless you did the out most best in not making it a ridiculous mess ... From what i can see these mid-engine do hang very low, did you had any problems clearing stuff with it ?

    Your a beast mate, totally mental bike builds!!! Stupid question though does a wheel diameter help top speed, on a 15000-2kw hub motor, what size wheel would you recommend if i want to reach an easy 50-55kph,cheers bro😊

    • @DonnyTerek
      @DonnyTerek  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks! Much appreciated. I'm not too sure but I would think that the wheel size wouldn't matter too much at top speed. I'd go for 26" though.

    • @DonnyTerek
      @DonnyTerek  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@alitoroganan2442 It's still a standard size for hub motor kits. Also if I'm not mistaken, the larger the wheel, the more strain is applied to the motor for initial torque.

    • @DonnyTerek
      @DonnyTerek  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! You are not mistaken, the BBSHD is stated as 1000W and the BBS02B as 750W. I just wrote the actual power number that I get from this 750W motor which is over 1200W.

    • @what-about-mike83
