Sometimes i feel sad for people who wants to be iitian but don't have a motive like iit mai kya karna hai, i personally was being iit i wanted a good college that has a nice mechanical engineering program that's it.....either i got the top 3 iit or the private one uske alwa i didn't want anything. Alot of my friends are in iit doing bsc or biotech or textile because they wanted to do iit not te degree. Our motive should be the degree we want then the top colleges which has the best. When we do our Masters we make sure to get nice program where we learn why not do that now, fimd good college where you can learn and get a good job rather than running behind IITs
With the world in 2023, and still you need Kota for motivation and competition is silly. What will you do doing top, rank 1? You can do the same thing even being rank 100 or rank 1000 fark bas itna hai easy access to research funds. Jitna acha college, utna easy to get funds.
But wasting your IIT talent to join IIM and then join IAS. I personally did a Btech from Lallu Panju University because I never heard on IITs until it was time to fill entrance forms and SBI main yehi available tha ya NIT ka form. Dono bhar diya, na completion ka pata na level ka. Aisi jagah se tha jahaan internet kitaab chodo, train ka track tak nhi tha.
We aimed high ki database engine banayenge, genetic algorithms pe kaam karenge. We now do a decent job and are happy to spend that money on things I always wanted to learn on my own. Degree interest nhi karta hai...kisko dikhana hai. No one cares because every year new people go through 12th board, clear exams and get placements. 20 saal pehle kisne kya zhanda gada koi fark nhi padhta kisi ko bhi aaj ke date pe. Par khud ko matter karna chahiye and khud ko sekhate rehna chahiye.

@@kanishkajain2165 By not giving a damn about the organization I work for and what they expect me to learn. You need to find your own learning interests.
Just as a heart surgeon gets the highest paying job but a general medicine is even more important in day to day life. Similarly people might praise AI/ML but if its not your interest don't bother, learn you feel like learning. You will always be relevant.
This is your dream child. Hope your dreams comes true. Now you are living your golden days. After your graduation bitter truth is waiting for you and that is unemployment.
Wht abt PPL who are passionate abt biotech?? If I like biotechnology, is it okay to opt it in an iit???
Review: Do not watch this series if you really want to study for exams, though it’s a good web series based on facts but scenes are overdone and can have psychological impact, since all the negative aspects are covered during preparation.
Also, this is more about how the educational institutions are commercialised and use the students as money machines without any regard for their mental health or needs

Annu Kapoor and all others, especially this topper girl, did great acting, and this was a great series. So realistic. In the last episodes, I was shocked when this girl commits suicide! It was then that I realized that she made that decision and was saying sorry to everyone. All exits were systematically closed on her. I wept like a baby. Have been through these struggles in my younger days.
