Renault Kangoo review, who would have thought it! Un-undoubtedly great little vans, this modified Renault Kangoo certainly stands out from the crowd! Formerly running a 1.7 DCi diesel engine this Renault Kangoo van is now running a Renault Megane 225 turbo motor! Now a 2.0 turbo with 225 HP (in stock form) this Renault Kangoo, named the Megangoo, literally rips! At under a tonne the power to weight ratio is super strong! Dave used 3 different vehicles to build this creation including a Renault Clio 172, a Renault Megane 225 turbo and a Renault Kangoo panel van. What he has created is something really quite special, deffo a proper sleeper! Includes Renault accelerations, exhaust noises, engines sounds, a nice lad called Dave and a chap called Monky. I love how clean it is, and that he has used only Renault parts. Keeps it in harmony with the brand. Maybe Renault should consider a kangoo R.S version. Great unique build

The only Renault i've ever really liked, is the old Renault 5 (Maxi) Turbo. But this thing seems like a lot of fun! Nothing like a proper sleeper, good job Dave! :D

@@monkylondon Never really were any big on the French cars to be honest, but i def like the old Group B Peugeot 205 and Renault 5 Maxi Turbo, afterall, they were some of the cars that really sparked my interest for cars.

The 1.7 dCi engine it originally had is extremely rare, because there was the 1.5 dCi and 1.9 dCi but no 1.7 dCi

I seem to remember the 1.7 being in the older small vans in the 1990's . The 1.9 dti and then 1.9dci came later
Mine was a 1.9 with 55hp! fully loaded it was a job to keep it at 70 if there was any sort of hill. Good little vans, wish i'd kept it.

That's a fantastic sleeper always thought vans make fantastic sleepers. That must put such a smile on your face when your owning everyone on the road. Makes me want to make a mk2 fiesta sleeper what I've wanted to do for ages.

This is great. I love sleepers of any sort. Kinda like when people see my EJ8 Civic and think it's just a simple rice mobile until I blow past them with smoke coming from both front tires because it currently makes 508 whp. This van is similar.

Our local Renault breaker/specialist built one of these over 2 years back using same engine. They use it as a parts delivery van.
