Thank god you made this video! I have been trying to unbox it alone for what seems like several weeks.
Wish I saw this before I bought mine. The handlebar mount was a little confusing at first but there is an attachment that rotates the camera 90 degrees so it faces forward, must've been missing from your box.
Pretty sure the footage isn't 1080, rather a much lower resolution but resized, especially with how grainy it is. But for 20 quid, can't expect miracles.
Connected it to my pc for use as a webcam and it only shows as 0.7mp which confirms my suspicion of resized footage. I'll be taking mine back later this week
You have to go in to the settings and change the resolution to 1080p it’s set to VGA by default

That's where I got mine. Not very well made.
Great vid, but you left one of the mounting brackets on the card board box lid, you remove it by squeezing the retraining clips in and sliding it of the piece of plastic thats stuck on the box, it makes using the helmet strap and fixed mount quick and simple to use.
great review, i was going to buy one today in B&M but thought i would come home and look around the internet to check it out, i am glad i found this and will not get one now.... can i ask, have you found another one at a reasonable price. i want one to record my 5 mile walks around where i live, like a video diary... i want hd image and one that has a harness for body
Unfortunately I haven't found another one as yet. Hopefully I will at some point.

I got one was pleased with it right untill I tried to pull footage from the SD card. It doesn't save video correctly and mic only picks up feed back from it's self.

me too Chris, ive plugged it in and got a red warning light on it. It should be a blue charging light. And same as you I only get 2 charging bars.

Made for a great video so I can't complain. I really enjoyed making it.
I have seen another one on the TH-cam older gentleman he had problems with his 1 the battery is not the right power plant for it and as well where you got the button just switch it on to go to go down and up is broken but overall I think you don't have fantastic job what you did for the review

oh dear just bought one wish i had seen your video first will try it out when the new ssd card arrives tomorrow ,if its still a crap video it will be going back later in the week my old GoPro is 100 times better

Glad I found this entertaining review. Definitely won't be buying it. Been looking at Surfola SF530 Action Camera on Amazon which looks pretty good but bit pricier but probably best to spend that extra bit of money for the quality.

I use a Sony Handycam HD Progressive. Had it for about 7 years now. It's brilliant.
i have a goodmans full hd action camera when i record something it stops after 5 minutes then starts again how do i set it to record for an hour before stopping

How did u format the same card as I am going crazy, I've turned it on with the card in.and out. Pls tell me
As far as I remember I didn't need to format it. It just recorded onto it. I think. It's been a while. There may be an option to format it in the settings or options.

ive just baught 1 u just put the card in while its on and it comes up format and you press ok ..how long duz it record 4 duz any1 no and can u use it as a cctv camera..i paid 40 for mine i think am gonna be a bit disappointed

Does this only record in 2min clips
It records continuously but the clips are recorded in 2 minute increments. I think you can change it though.
@@SmegChris yeah do u know how to change it as i have same one but would rather change so its always recording from when i start to finish instead of 2 min clips
