I got a reply back from Wolfang, its a setting in the settings that changes it to all one file instead of loads of 5 min ones. Just turn the looping setting off.
Ah right, that's good but I didn't know you had loop recording turned on. That's designed for when it's used as a car cam so that it will basically record forever as when the card is full it writes over the oldest files. Files are still saved a 4Gb packets though I think you'll find.
Any idea of the chipset and sensor built into this action camera. Based on the video modes I think it could be icatch V39 (sunplus) chipset and perhaps the standard sony 386 12MP sensor but not sure. HDKing is the manufacturer behind most action cameras and they are rebranded by Chinese tradehouses or western brands. You might be able to spot the spec on the hdking site. Is it a hdking app you use with the camera. DV king 4k or something like that.
Hi mate, No but I will try and find out and I will post it. I've reviewed more than 50 cameras and the user interface on this was one I'd never seen before, ie not a clone to my knowledge anyway. App is Live DV which is a new one on me too.
Thanks for a great video mate, my sons does seem to get stuck on the wolfang screen, the only way i can fix that is by removing the battery, would you have any tips on how to stop this?
I guess you mean the wifi connection? I suppose it depends on the phone a bit, but I would have thought 10m at least, so unless it's a very BIG TALL house should be ok?
@bobflyman Thank you for replying, I need to operate the camera from a mobile connection . I can seem to find the camera name to connect the two . Any ideas please?
This is the explanation below. You need an edit programme to stitch the bits together mate! There are free ones around. Video captured by an action camera is usually split into segments, and each segment is usually a few minutes in length, this is because the file system used by sports cameras (usually FAT32) has a limit on individual file sizes. The FAT32 file system has a single file size limit of 4GB and if a sports camera captures video for too long, the individual file size may exceed this limit. For this reason, action cameras will often save longer video files in multiple smaller segments, each of which falls within the single file size limit.
A very cheap camera and great for a back up just incase. However I would personally rather spend a little extra and get a little more. My osmo action is honestly brilliant. Stabilisation is great colours are true to life. And the best bit is the battery life actually lasts vert well in all weather's.
Yes, agreed. Alright to chuck in the bag as a back up. I'd love an Osmo action, excellent quality, but nobody is going to send me one of those for free. Happy flying!
Quite a lot of accessories, and seems nice and clear video. Nice clips of the seaside too.
Thank you, it was a lovely day by the sea !
Loads of accessories, impressive, it didn't seem quite as sharp as some but overall I guess not bad ... looked like a pretty nice day as well. 👍

Enjoyed your video, couldn't make out why you were in such a hurry. .
I was😂
There's a lot to cover and if I'd talked more slowly it would have been a 30 min vid instead of a 20 min vid!
I got the GA300 its touch screen and brill
Brilliant !
Good bang for your buck camera, and it does seem to work okay. EIS hardly seem to do anything and IQ isn't great, but what can you expect?
Yes, ok for the money if you need the remote and external microphone. Not the greatest video quality.

@@lewisyoutub that's a new one on me? Factory reset maybe?
@@bobflyman thanks mate, I will give that a go
Hi .
I've bought one of these as an inspection camera for guttering, my phone as a screen what the distance between to devices please?

Pretty sure I show it at 15:09 in the video? It's a good while since I made that video and I don't have the app on my phone now.
@@bobflyman I sussed it - thank you for replying.
Glad you got there in the end. Make sure you give the video a like mate! 😉
great to see ya back Bob!!! it stinks at this point EIS isnt a standard on 4k
Ha ha, I'm still around!
and interpolated anyway. 😉
@@bobflyman always enjoy your videos man...hope all is well!!
mine only records for 5 min clips instead of one big file, very annoying
That's normal, it's the way microcards record data in chunks. All cameras do the same thing.
Thank you for the reply, it's annoying trying go fix the two half's together in the middle of a song

I remember years ago those key chain cameras, they had better video I think.
I remember those too!
You had them tested.
@@Giovanniram22 I certainly did, loads of key chain stuff on my channel!
