Thanks Dylan! Great content! Just bough an old 17 Mako that's going to need all that same work done. I'll be following in your footsteps on mine.

Great video i am ddoing a boat myself now. Got a question i noticed my boat in the middle didnt have a stringer i am sure its because of the haul but it was hallow to let the water run to the back where the blidge pump is. How come u put bulk heads in the middle juat curious

Some boats have that drain pipe for the anchor hatch or some other hatches for drainage. I didn’t put any hatches under the floor so I foamed it all and sealed it off so no water can get in. I’ll soon make drain holes for the anchor box that’ll just drain out onto the deck of the boat and then drain off into the bilge

What’s up man. Awesome videos you got going! I’m about to start the transom and stringers on a 23ft monza and these videos are giving me the motivation to tackle it on my own. What I’m wondering is how your going to put the floor in when it looks like your stringers are shorter than the tabs you left all around the side walls of the boat when you cut the floor out? Shouldn’t they be level with the tabs? So the new floor sits over the tabs and lay on the stringers? The weather in Miami has sucked the last month. It rains every day. I’m in Miami lakes.

Wassup bro really appreciate the videos I’ve literally just been replicating everything you do as I’m currently redoing my boat. If you are open how much would you charge me to do a consultation on my boat I’m open to any ideas or methods I could incorporate to build a nice boat. you are local so I hope to see you on the water one day

It looks like that will be the stiffest 17 Mako on the planet when you are finished.

24gr disc makes faster work then the flap. What I'm using for all my grinding.
