After seeing and operating the current rescue vessels in the 6mtr range from the current builders this boat seems to be a breath of fresh air, hard to tell on the video however it looks like it’s a 2 crew boat with the 3rd member standing outside hanging on to the cabin. In my opinion our vessels need for their main purpose is a tow post, a tow line reel and deck work room for the crew along with any possible passengers, the current 6mtr class boats have a lot of wasted space in the bow with the helm and navigator seats and a couple of dickie seats behind those. With the non existent tow line reel makes the small rear deck with the tow line pulled back aboard makes it a dangerous work space in any sort of sea. This new boat for the alpine lakes looks good and has the required work space on the deck👏👏although I missed any mention of a tow line reel? But a nice looking boat FIT for purpose is what is needed for the work we do.
Thankyou for the feedback, really appreciate this. I would imagine that we could only get better from here as we strive to continue to work with Marine NSW and other organisations alike. There is a bit of space within cabin for extra crew if required, one side gets the jum seat, the other is standing room only. There is a brief mention about tow post, but they don't go into it at all - so not much missed here.
@cncmarineboats not gonna lie, I'm considering hitting you guys up. Will be a year or two away for me before i upgrade. But a 7.5 hard top, pilot house, dive door, flooding keel...can it be done?!
Yeah OK - We do loads and loads of them actually. The small punts, not the videos... Got a video that may be coming up of a 5.5m landing barge punt which was done for the Aboriginal Land council

What an epic boat. I want one myself
Very striking & capable looking boat. Planes beautifully in flat water, might pitch & roll a bit in a cross chop?
Raymarine is the professional's choice.
Could do a recreational version ;)

We need a vid on small punts for the river

Towing from a point over 1mtr from waterline cant be good for stability
At towing speeds that would not be a problem.
You need something higher to clear the engines - higher also acts pull the other boat up, keeping the bow up.
The noggins on the black stern bracket stops the rope from yawing wildly, so no problem
Another bone bashing plate boat poor crews
Another keyboard warrior with no idea about boats - Poor Internet
I’ve owned enough to know what I good riding boat is never been in a good riding plate boat
