Another great video, H. I'm a big fan of PBJ and I own a few pairs myself. I appreciate all varieties of denim: heavy weight, slubby and neppy, and clean consistent materials too. Oni, IH, Momotaro and PBJ are my favourites.
I got 2 pairs of pure blue Japan's one is a 14oz and my newest is the 16oz super slubs I been wearing my 14oz for almost a year in tough work evierments and they're still slowly fading I love how they're coming but the biggest thing I dislike about them tho is the pocket I keep my phone (front left) the inner pocket is disintegrating but other then that they're really good and can take abuse 9/10
Be very careful when buying PBJ's. I have two pairs of PBJ's, one pair has a serious seam twist in the leg where the jean inseam has rotated about 90 degrees to be in the front of my leg. The other pair has a similar problem but not as bad. This is very disappointing as I do not think anything can be done about this problem. Any thoughts anyone?
The twist is related to the weaving process and is the natural adjustment of the fabric, which tends to follow the direction of the weave as the fabric is washed and shrinks. The way that the leg twists depends on the type of weaving (right-hand twill or left-hand twill). All is related to the fabric and the way it is woven. This is very uncommon in modern denim fabric because they processed differently the denim. Sorry, but it has no solution
@@UrbanLadUK Thanks Diego appreciated ! I should have added that I have a pair PBJ Pure 12oz High-Density Chinos which I am really happy with. I might take the faulty jeans bank to the shop I bought them from and see if they will give me a good discount on another pair of chinos. This is probably the best outcome I can hope for. I will let you know how it pans out. Cheers.
After testing so many jeans, it would be very interesting to see your personal top 10 of favourite pairs!
I still have a few more to review and my top 10😉!!

@@AndrewGrant-bx5gz not faulty. It's the nature of the beast called unsanforized denim. Embrace it 😀
You can buy broken twill denim and you won’t have this problem. Iron Heart offers broken twill options
