How to tilt phil helmuth. Step one, sit down at the poker table. Step two, win with bad cards. There is no step three, stit back, and watch the epic 3 day tantrum
Please please do more content like this! I don't know how much time investment these vlogs represent but this is by far my favorite vlog format with the hands overlay and bet sizes. You've graduated from my favorite meme-er to my favorite vloger in a single vid!
As a fellow Canadian and new subscriberr to your channel over the last month and a half, giggling at your short videos and enjoying the longer ones as well, I found this video exciting and thrilling and interesting right from the start to the end. As a newbie poker player, you folding those pocket pairs after assessing the player's previous hand was a bit mind-blowing. I really have a lot of room to grow in my game!
I notice popular poker bloggers often get seated at the feature table. I thought poker seatings were supposed to be random and selection is supposed to be random. Is this manipulation of the seating by the organizers, or just perception bias on my part?
im at wsop rn and learning to adjust to these donk leads. recs tend to donk their strong hands instead of there draws. They definitely lead on boards that theoretically they should not lead on. After a weak playing agaist a lot of rec players I haven't seen recs lead draws mostly strong hands they feel they need to protect.
Your content is fantastic Greg! I like how real you keep it.. poker is not easy, especially tournaments.. so many tough spots and tricky decisions to make! Keep grinding, much love from 🇨🇦
Hey Greg... as a non-US player... this MAY be difficult to answer... but do you have any suggestions as to where I should play online? Maybe you could show off a little more who you like working with the most. 😂😂😂😂😂
Every donkey has his day! All you need is luck. Keep grinding and we all cheering for you to hit one of these. In the meantime don’t quit your TH-cam job! Great content!
It's not even so much a willingness to get it in, but just the fact that villain's line is FOS. All flop 3bets are bluffs, because it's too easy for the check raise to be a trap so it makes no sense to raise over the top. In this scenario Hero could conceivably 4bet jam to get him off whatever bluff villain is on, but sometimes villain might actually be bluffing with the best hands such as a nut flush draw in which case we feel really stupid punting with Queen high and zero FE.
Hand #1. Bet that flop for 1/2 pot or less, you get better info and can check back the turn and see a cheaper river. Hand #2. If you're going to semi bluff like that, you have to call off man. That was terrible Greg, I'm sorry, it really was. You don't want to gamble? You're NEVER going to cash enough in top heavy spots to make it bro... you HAVE to gamble this spot... (I paused right after the hand and before you acknowledged this... good... next time you'll put your chips in then aye?) Hand #3. Well played because you got the chips... but check raising that flop was on the edge. Think of it this way, if you flop a flush or set are you going to check raise? I would imagine you're going to trap... so check calling there to polarize your traps seems like the play to me! Hand #4. It's pretty much a cooler and there is no stack depth to argue playing super defensively, but for the sake of analysis, let's look at your line... Hand #4: The flop bet is very nice. Downsizing A hi flops when you are the raiser is a solid line to take... checking the turn is ok also, but betting the river is the issue. All things considered you're screwed by stack sizes but you got to think about how you're going to make chips on the river against the range you are beating, you are targetting weaker Ax hands but I think if you check the river any ace is going to look for thin value themselves and also you give HUGE incentive for a missed flush draw to bluff off the river. Just a thought considering you checked the turn and by checking the river your AQ looks a whole lot like JJ or QQ, which if I were that dude I would consider jamming you off that on the river... however... I'm taking a different line with a worse ace and won't be in this spot with some weird flush draw but it can work against other bluff aggro people who overcall in position!
Flying in, getting to venue, and not feeling settled in at a pricier tourney...you sounded like you were about to give yourself an ulcer. Looked like you had fun after you re bought.
3:09 Were you really just peeling off those sticker backs and throwing them on the floor? NGL that's kinda lame man. Someone has to clean that up for you.
Long form/Short form, all of it's GREAT form (especially Gregs figure) as long as it's from #GGAI but it's great after all those #quickies with #GGAI we get a more extended intimate session of love with a full vlog of #GGAI #cockamaimie #shenanigans with the 🇨🇦 🐐 of vloggers (whichbisnt hard cuz theres like only 2 - @xuanlui is other one. #GGAI #rocks!
Mann, these new poker players with all the math and calculation and what if and etc, poker is first a game o luck because even if you have the biggest cards you can lose to a guy with 4 5,and then you just need to know,1 when to check or call,to draw in as much profit as you can or minimalize the loose, 2 how and when to bluff to win a hand witch normaly you will loose and 3 when to listen to your instinct to your gut,you don't need all that probability calulation and position and analisation. If you enjoy the game you will naturally become better, and I am speaking after 12 years of poker, and I've seen all the possible hands, when is not your day is not your day and you have to accept that you will loose sometime!(alsoo english is not my first language soo, soryy fore some mistakes😁)
Yes,but that gut feeling saved me last night,I had A 10 and no payrs on the bord, the guy raised me all in and he had more chips than me,I wanted to fold but my instict said that he is bluffing and after 30 second I made the call,he also had nothing but smaller cards, and I winn the pot,I don't say to play only by instinct, but sometimes is good to know when to listen to it ,but hey everyone can play poker as he likes😁
How to tilt phil helmuth. Step one, sit down at the poker table. Step two, win with bad cards. There is no step three, stit back, and watch the epic 3 day tantrum
or bluff him but don't tell him you did
Win against Phil with any 2 cards regardless of Phil’s holding he’s gonna implode
Step 2 is optional
Nah step 2 is Win on the River or Convince him to bet when he's drawing dead on the Turn.
5:32 “once a donkey always a donkey” “at least he wore five patches” 💀💀
"Once a donkey, always a donkey."
😂😂😂
You played very well throughout and got Phil Helmuth to endorse your merch. Such a win GJ!
Thx Keevin 🥰
@@GregGoesAllIn also everything you need to do to tilt hellmuth is sit at the same table

Oh thx Jesse 🥰
Hell yea!!!! I love your short skits I can't wait to see what you've got on the table!
Phil was so nice that was such a wholesome interaction

Very cool. That last hand was nasty though!
Also great banter with Phil XD
Great vlog. Really enjoyed this content.

Wow, Phil is actually so wholesome in this vide! GJ Greg ❤
If I could win one hand at a tourney and never win a hand again, it'd have to be one that tilted Helmuth. Way to go!
Incredible graphics on this channel. First video I've ever watched and the graphics made me sub.
the only video on youtube showing phil in a positive way 😂
The Hellmuth compliments were everything! 👍😉🔥
t's really neat seeing an insta 360 in the wild. Really nice VLOG too!
Great content, you are so funny Greg. Btw I subscribed when I saw you first tine few years ago! You deserve better.
My guy starring into that cameraman’s soul😂😂😂
What camera are you using for the table footage?
That 'at the table' camera angle is legendary and I hope you make it a 'thing' people adopt
Phil needs a health bar and dark souls music next time he walks up to your table 😂
11:15 the fact that the viewers and commentators said this was a great fold says you’re a great poker player 😂
3:16 underrated joke lol. Correct me if wrong, wasnt Robbie getting coached by Jaka at the time of the Garret hand?
All you gotta do is bink a couple big tournaments and you can become a coach and make bank like the rest of em
Good vid love the breakdowns. Nicely done
Man, i don't even play poker but i love watching your videos while i do the dishes.
Those million GG patches and yelling "Yaka" I'm dying 🤣

Fun video! Thanks for sharing Greg 👍
1:49 reraise when you’re looking to catch up is a terrible move bro lol
How much money did he loose at that table? Is this normal at tournaments?
If you’re gonna check raise with the cardboard box (Q9) there then you gotta be willing to get it all in, you have the odds. Scared money brother
