This video was super helpful for a beginner adult like me. The what not to do tips are great. The tipping pelvis with the sous sous was never explained to me. I'm sure I was bending that back leg. Thank you !

So glad this helped! I always need a reminder with that back leg too - happy dancing!

@@BrocheBallet I think the difference is you take adult beginners seriously and take the time to teach the moves completely. Most adult beginner classes I've attended the teacher just does the move and you are supposed to copy. There is no actual explanation or tips.

I agree with the other commenters that this is the real deal in explanations! And so needed.
Particularly, the third variety in grand allegro where I find it difficult to connect all
the pieces and end up defaulting to the efface form. One suggestion I would make is to dance/combine
the whole thing through at the beginning of the video for a minute or so to see how great it
    looks in context.

@@BrocheBallet hi there thank you for this detail orientated video. I we learned this today in our workshop in our beginner ballet level two and it’s really hard I I had such a hard time keeping up, but I felt so dejected and so I wanted to try and figure out how to do this. I got so confused and my feet feel so flat and anyways I know it takes time but thank you for this so I really like the way that you teach ballet to,DO YOU have any advice for somebody as an older like an adult beginner person who is struggling in class and the teacher goes a little bit too fast it’s hard for me to do certain things like I definitely cannot jump because I have arthritis in my knee, so I don’t feel like I’m part of the class and I feel kind of dejected and also in the studio at the studio was very very hot and everyone’s faces were red and actually for the first time I had to walk out of the and take 10 minutes and drink some water because I couldn’t focus at the barre because I was sweating. It was so hot after class I mentioned to the reception asked if they could like do anything like put the air on anyways a lot of people were feeling really hot. Any advice on what I should do like I don’t know whether I wanna go back to class next week because if it’s in the same studio then, this is at the National Ballet Of Canada in Toronto so it’s hard to learn new combinations that are faster but also learn them in a studio where there’s no air like it was. It was so hot and I was sweating all right thank you don’t complain.
