@@gervas4935actually it's not, it is rappers delight but was performed by a dude in a karaoke bar in Spain, all that nonsense words are him trying to sing rapper's delight. That night the dj heard that and wrote the song and gave it to the group ketchup.... Google it, it's true
I noticed that right off the bat too. The gibberish they're singing sounds exactly like someone trying to sing in English without understanding the languag. Very much like the now infamous Idol audition with the chick trying to sing a Mariah Carey song. th-cam.com/video/yqVVv97pKGk/w-d-xo.html
The story behind the song is why I like The Ketchup Song. The guy being described throughout the entire song as sexy and what have you walks up to the DJ and wants to request Rapper's Delight, but he doesn't know the name or lyrics correctly, so he just says some gibberish in spanish to try to tell the DJ the song. So if they would get sued, there's a very good reason to believe this is transformative
So now I'm trying to figure out if I genuinely liked this song or if I was biased from Sugarhill Gang, and later the Def Squad version. I wouldn't mind seeing Redman do a colab with these girls, though.
I had an America Online account (not AOL) in 2004, but I don't remember ever getting the demonic email. I do remember hearing Rapper's Delight around that time, though.
I was telling my wife about how I was certain they sampled Rapper's Delight and Googled it. Found this video and I am satisfied. ^_^
Same here my wife showed me this song and all I could hear was rappers delight haha
@@curlytavs8781 No way its way different

Thank you very much, exactly what I was looking for!❤
I knew I wasn't the only one that heard that shit!!!😂😂😂
Love the editing!

Lol. This is amazing! xD Shame it isn't as popular today.

I'm glad Rapper's Delight wasn't written by Marvin Gaye, 'cause there'd be a lawsuit.

They would loose the lawsuit.
