Floss, floss, and more floss. Countryside C3 - thanks Ben this stuff is simply amazing. Nitrates under control, and removed tannins in less than 24 hrs 👍👍
Micron bags and flees rollers are a huge help! Just trying to keep it generic for both salty and fresh ;) More salt water stuff will be coming out soon just the budget reef I knocked together isn’t really TH-cam worthy under the hood 😂
Great tips as always and they have come just at the right time for me as I was looking for a way to reduce nitrates from my tap water , looked at your other video with the canister and was wondering what size to buy or is it just a matter of I’d have to regenerate it more often. Also once I’ve done a water change is the water that will be left inside the canister ok to be left 1-2 weeks until I next do a water change can I just connect strait back to my water or douse it go sour and need rinsing through ? Hope your eyes are better too
Yes will be best left in there as don’t want the resin to dry out or will need replacing. Also between each use just run it for 5/10 minutes as will be stagnant water and after regenerating flush it for 20 plus mins till PH drops to the usual level and shows 0 nitrates as you will get a nitrate reading if not fully clear if the salt mix. Thanks for the support and yes feeling it today but on the mend 🤗

@@TANK-TV thanks for reply Mate I did try them a couple of weeks ago but when you go onto link it says breeder resin not c3 so called them up they said they don’t know if they will be getting c3 in stock again. 👎☹️
Guests always comment on how clear my tank water is largely because Mr Tank TV introduced me to a nitrate resin filter for putting new 0 nitrate water in the tank when doing water changes... and that white floss 🙌💪
for a planted tank you will do the following : ( ridiculous amounts of Plants, too much biomedia into your sump/cansiter, very high water flow to turn tank water within the filter for 10 times an hour atleast, 6 - 8 hours lighting, Co2 same duration but with 1 hour early timing, dozing regular ferts )and little feeding, you will get crystal clear water in 3 days or less .. it will stay like that all the time as long as you follow up with proper maintenance
Diatom filter, THAT will make your fish fly in mid-air. ... And a sump, definitely a sump. None of those canister filters. Also seriously be mindful of the current you are creating, Discus will simply die if they have to fight current all day long. Great video, Cheers.
Hi love your channel, your humour is brilliant along with the advice 😄😄😄😄

Best uv is metal halides which is phasing out
Clickbait title, reported. These are not "hacks"..everything you mentioned is basic fish tank keeping 101.
