About 33 years ago my dad took me to this via ferrata. I was about 16. He took me to so many vie ferrate that season that my memories are quite blurred. Of course I do remember the bridge. I was so scared and he was so careful that we would not only use the usual ropes and carabiners to tie ourselves to the fixed ropes, but he would also tie me with a climbing rope for extra safety. My dad made me explore amazing places in the dolomites. Thanks for sharing this beautiful video that has allowed me to revisit those beautiful places.
Ferrata Ivano Dibona looks absolutely epic! Between the WWI ruins, the iconic bridge, and those views, it really seems like the ultimate Dolomites experience. Thanks for sharing this awesome adventure, definetly inspiring for anyone thinking about doing a Via Ferrata! 🧗♂
Hey !! Awesome videos on the Dolomites, especially the rating part. Which month like the dates are u doing it in ? Would be nice to know that for the climbers who wanna go there and to plan as well ?
@@lakshminarayansharma7474Thanks , I'm glad you're enjoying them! I did them all over August and the first week of September, but July can also be a good month to climb there
Hello Cris, Thank you for this beautiful video! Would you mind sharing the list if Ferratas and their difficulty rating? I wonder, if I know you from the Tour de Mt. Blanc video...where Viv made this funny comment;) I had to do it in the peak season due to other commitments and went on alternative hikes away from the main route. It was worthwhile and inspired by you guys!!! All the best:)
@@Kethy555 I think the brand is Izipizi for those ones. Vallon does them too. Anything that's category 4 and has the side blockers does the job 💪🏻 Thanks for watching!
best way to get some work done at altitude before doing the big stuff 😁 All the best to Viv ! (views should have been a 5 you've been spoiled by the big mountain ranges)
@@YnseSchaap Definitely spoiled a bit from all the big mountains... 😂. Rating on views was difficult for all of the Ferratas coming up. In the last video I actually end up bumping Ivano Dibona to one of my favourites 😉. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I disagree on one point :) Descending on scree can be very fun, it's basically a free ride down. I absolutely love it ! But going up.... is hell. However it depends on the granulation of the scree, I mainly refer to that type of scree that is unstable.
Man, you are the best! Love your videos, too bad Viv couldn't be there. Hope to see more of the preparation for the next peak of the seven summits!

Where is the start point?
@@edvinaskucinskas8682 Closest town is Cortina. I started from a place called Paso Tre Croci
maybe im wrong, but it looks like a b or c ferrata?!
@@thebeke I think it's a b - definitely not too difficult. Thanks for watching!
