Even though I like pistol squats, today I wasn't feeling particularly connected to what I was doing. I felt like i was going through the motions. Which reflects how I move outside the mat lately...now that i think about it...the mat is definitely a mirror and today the reflection wasn't that great...but I showed up. Thank you for guiding us Emilie through a well planned class. Your words at the end really resonated with me today 🙏🏻
Thanks for this class, it really left me feeling refreshed and content :) One little thing I would enjoy would be for the speed to be reduced juuust a little bit; I'd quite like to have time for a few more breaths while in a pose (ie down dog), but that's personal taste of course ;)

I think I would like pistol squats a lot more if I could do them! :):) I totally loved this flow even with them :) I am always so thankful when we get to start on child’s pose :) the battle between more time in bed or on the mat before work is intense!! If I don’t get to start in child’s pose, I am like “wait!! I am not ready yet!” :) loved this strong flow and loved the longer holds in warrior 3 so much. I will come back to this one as my grasshopper and pistol squats are in their very beginning stages!! :) thank you for sharing with us :)💜

@@MsErika1226 🤣🤣those horrible L-sits are definitely going to help with anything to do with compression! Best way to train pistol squats is to do negatives and try to hold the bottom position as actively as possible, without just resting on your bottom heel.

I think I have a love hate relationship with pistol squats because I really want to be able to do them but am still getting there 😵💫
In my experience the best way to learn how to do them is to not avoid them so you're on the right track 😍💪
