    I have also bought these shoes. I have a wide feet and it fits perfekt with the true sizes. I also replace the insole with my orthopedic insole. Now the feet are more at the ground. I love it.

    I love these. I have the gray ones and I think they're so good. They're way better than the 5s were.

      Really?! Better than the 5s? 5s were, imo, the 2nd best shoe after TYR cxt

      @drew123994 I wasn't a fan of the tongue and laces on the 5s. Even after changing the laces I wasn't a huge fan. (That didn't stop me from buying two pairs and they're my second most worn shoes after the 6s)

      @@daveyadict_ fair. I loved the tongue, but spot on on about the laces

      I like how the tongue on the 5’a came up higher. I feel like the tongue on the 6’s is falling down and it’s not. The heel on my left foot has a hole in it after 2 mos. I reached out to UA and if they refund me a gift card I’m going to get another pair of the 5’s and just buy diff laces. My left foot always hurts after workouts. Maybe the left sneaker is defective but I think I’m done with the 6’s. I love the all white color way they’re just not working for me.

      @jmoak311 well I hope it works out for you with the 5s. I just bought two more pairs of the 6s lol. So far, I haven't had any issues.

    My Reign 6's just arrived yesterday, so I haven't had a chance to test them out yet. But I will say that I don't feel like the weight will be a problem as I walked around with them for a bit. I am coming from Xero shoes- which are about as light as you can get. I just wanted something with a little more stability for lifting, and a slight heel lift. I can guarantee that the added weight of the Reign 6's is due to the wrap-around rubber on the outsole. Most shoes with a traditional external midsole don't have rubber that wraps around the whole shoe. Rubber is heavy.
    Now, I'm just waiting for my Reebok Nano 2.0's o arrive before deciding whether or not I'm going to keep the Reign 6s. I think I'll really like the Reign 6, but the Nano 2.0s were a great price, and I've read a lot of good things about them too. Might be a tough decision!

      Which one did you choose?

    • @rickwebermusic
      @rickwebermusic 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@jeffersonmp4 I ended up keeping the Reign 6's. Not that the Nano 2.0's were bad. But they had a little bit more pronounced arch support (which I don't care for). And the materials felt like they wouldn't be quite as durable as the Reigns. I've been using the Reign's for a few months now and they're great!

    I dig the wider toe box. I wanted to like the 5s but when trying them on, they were just a little too narrow for me. Not unbearably so maybe breaking them in would have loosened them up enough since it was right on borderline... either way the 6s being wider is enough for me to give them a try.

    • @jmoak311
      @jmoak311 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had to send my 6’s back. After a short while there was a hole in the heel. In the meantime I’ve went back to my 5’s and they def are noticeably more narrow. I thought about using my return on another pair of 5’s but think I’ll go back to the 6.

    I just got these. I jumped from the 1 generation of these to the new ones. So they’re a lot different. They’re a bit more squishy, so that’ll take some getting used to. But they have better grip. I personally do strongman, I’m curious if i’ll like them as much as my old ones.

  • @jmoak311
    @jmoak311 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I feel the extra length comes from the lack of volume in the upper. Hear me out lol. I sometimes feel I need to pull the tongue upwards, almost as if it’s falling, and it isn’t since it’s gusseted. I feel if it had more overall volume in the upper it would pull the shoe back a bit and sit more naturally on the foot. At least my foot.

    • @jmoak311
      @jmoak311 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The reign series has always taken me some time for the shoe to feel broken in. Unlike my running shoes which feel good out of the box. Could be the lack of toe spring or materials, not quite sure.

    I've been waiting for this review!
    I bought 5s and they were good shoes, but the hard outsole made my toes kinda float when I squat. It's getting better as the shoes break tho. I'm quite tempted to buy 6 as you mentioned that its similar to Metcon 5 and 6.
    Metcon 5 and 6 are my go-to squat shoes and I've been looking for something similar for a long time.
    Would it be okay to go for me? This ones outsole is looking more flexible, so probably won't have floating toe issues.

    I'm worried about durability, I always want my shoes to last at least 2 years until they start to fall appart, my previous shows were some Adidas I don't remember the model, but they lasted 4 years, only for trainning and running and not every day wear. Do youthing they will last longer?

    Hello thank you for all your awesome reviews! They really help me out when getting new gear/ equipment. I have been on the fence on buying the reign 5's and reign 6's. Comparing the two which would you recommend is the best all around crosstraining shoe between the two?

    Very helpful video. Under your opinion which ones are better for daily gym workout and cardio sometimes in threadmill, 5 or 6? Or can you recommend other shoe? I normally like minimalistic style shoes.

    • @AMRAP
      @AMRAP  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@teriyaky22 you could go either way to be honest, 6s have a flatter profile but both are 2mm drop shoes so they’re relatively flat. If you don’t care too much about heavier deadlifts then I’d go with the 5s since you could probably get a deal.

    Friend, I watch your videos a lot, but I don't understand English! I live in Brazil! But here it takes a long time for the news to arrive, then I'll see your videos! Here's the thing! I'm a fan of UA! And I wanted to import a sneaker like that! Here there's only Reign 4, I'm a Crossfit practitioner! Then I'm going to import one! I wanted a tip which one did you like + or indicate!? The reign 5 or the reign 6! Sorry if it's a little out of context, it's that I used Google translator! Hugs!!
