Are you baffled by your Crossfire not starting when you turn the key?
I already got rid of one Crossfire because of this problem. I didn't know I could fix it in 5 minutes! Reheat three solder points, That's it!

My cursed Crossfire has sat for months after giving up...until now. Thanks! I pulled it apart, re-soldered those 3 points, and now it actually is running again. It's my best Christmas present this year.

Sometimes the alarm prevents any car from starting, all my cars have done this a time or two..
Get online on youtube & it walks you thru the instructions to dearm the alarm..
It happens when the computer thinks the car is being stolen...

I have a very nice crossfire. Metallic black with burnt orange interior and stick shift. I kept it stock. People never know what kind of car is it. I get compliments all the time. Finding parts is starting to become hard though.

dang i tried this and it didnt work ,what else you think it could be or maybe i did it wrong ?
I had issue also. Check the battery cable. Clamp and wire.. My wire came loose from the camp. cut off clamp and replace with a new clamp, or replace whole cable. Have not had issue since.
After you completed the resoldering, how did you test to make sure car wouldn’t stall out without driving it somewhere?
After soldering was completed, the problem was fixed. As of this writing, I did the repair 4 months earlier. The problem has not returned.

Lucky i have not had this problem, but heard about it. Thank you for showing where to solder. I have an Icarsoft I980 (Mercedes Benz) in case you ever need a diagnostic. I am in Scottsdale as well.

I have a 2004 crossfire.. I thought that was my issue. It was not. The issue was my battery cable. The cable came loose from the battery clamp. Only thing holding it together was the rubber around the wire. I turned on the head lights showed power. Turned the key, a click, then no power. Wiggled the cable and felt the wire moving in the clamp on the cable. Cut off cable end. Replaced with new clamp.. NO issues since.
Having problems with battery going down Lights all come on but will not start how can you tell if it is charging or not Bought new battery two weeks ago and it’s testing low and want strat
awesome Im in process of buying a Crossfire this month, so I should do this right when I get it !!! so the problem is lack of a secure wire in circuit ? I saw one of these catch fire after this was done so guess you must be careful to not add to much solder to pin to flow to touch other of the pins. one video I wish someone would get a Chrysler crossfire key to program it. I have a 2011 Mustang with flip keys I bought to program key was the easiest I have ever seen. as long as you have both factory keys.. most used Crossfires only with one key. I need 2 keys so need to find a way to program keys for Chrysler crossfire. to reprogram a Mercedes key cost so much .$250 each
I think mine is now having this issue. I have power and all the dash lights come on but it will not start. I thought it maybe the starting. I will give this a try. I could not tell if you are just adding more solder to each post only with touching the other post or are you solder to join all three post? Thanks again.
Where'd you get the body kit
What were the symptoms when you had this problem? Did the engine turn over but wouldn't fire or would it not even turn over?
Unfortunately my Crossfire has started todo this is there a certain type soldering I need to use on the 3 post ?? In thank for the video 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Just be sure to use the thin solder used for electronics, not the thick one used for plumbing...
