loved the twins,always looking for a good way to scare (though I do have a rule,we don't mess with the younger kids)
There were some great effects here. I didn't care for the Twisted Twins. It went on way too long and isn't to my taste anyway. Folks who want to use the twins probably will pull apart the clips and use some.
But the maid was well done, as well as the pirate.

I really like Atmos FX particularly the pumpkin trio they are a hit with everyone who sees them
Very cool, I think the girls are too scary for the little ones, but perfect for an Overlook Hotel. The servents would be awesome for a Haunted House or a hotel. OMG the pirates are worth the wait, they are excellent, I can almost smell the rum!!!

We have purchased and displayed these in our previous home which was SO awesome! It was a big hit in our subdivision. At the time we had a double window in front but now sadly only a single. Do you have any good NEW recommendations for a single window? That loops with various images? Last I looked (admittedly it was years ago) the best were those that required a double window. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I spend more for it in decorating than Christmas 🙈😂
For a single window (I'm assuming it's taller than it is wide), I would probably recommend any of the vertically oriented scenes from AtmosFX. There should be a good selection to pick from as I believe most of their decorations include some version of these.

Yep! Grey chiffon is a good substitute!
A white shower curtain from the dollar tree also works... I used it in my window last year, it was perfect 😁👌
I also heard of a fog curtain too.
Fractals would make great Halloween window projections.

I am not really crazy about the twins section. The maid section was a bit better but could have been scarier. The pirate part is definitely the best I wish I could get this with out the other 2 sections!

I have a small enclosed space that I’d like to project the pirate one, would it work. It’s a crawl space so very short like 3’ tall x 4’ wide. Any recommendations for a small projector if it would work. Thanks
Correct me if I’m wrong, as long as you have a projector & fabric to project on to - you’re buying a digital “video” to play - correct? Or is there a whole bundle deal to be able to have these as decoration in your home? 😊
Hey Monica. Thanks for watching! The short answer is both! You can go to AtmosFX’s site using the link in the description and purchase a download to the videos to use on your own projector OR you can purchase the AtmosKIT Plus which includes a projector and a USB drive to put your videos on after you download them. You can also purchase your projection material and various projection props directly from their site. Hope that helps!
I asked this on the other channel but seeing as it’s been 2 years since you posted that video there figured I’d try and get a response here. But my question is can you make a tutorial on how you did the witch and the pumpkin jamboree with the ambient settings and having one play and the other in a sleep mode! You made it sound easy in the response but I’m pretty bad when it comes to computers. Lol thanks for any help!

Toil & Trouble's DIY , I bought the atomfx with 3 pumpkins 🎃 do you just aim the projector at the pumpkins to make them come alive? I love this great 👍 review, very impressive ghosts

Hey man, great review. What do you use to play your effects? Last year I plugged a thumb drive into my projector but had to download an app to play them. Also i kept having to hit play every time they all finished. Would a digital media player solve that? Just curious what set up you use...thanks! -Ben

@@ToilandTroublesDIY I live on the beach way up in northern corner of cali almost to the oregon border and so nautical themes are big but in my time here never seen a kraken themed Halloween yard so I think it would be awesome to do it. So totally hope they do a kraken one 🤪
How far must be the projector? Somehow I just cannot find a set-up diagram to see if it will fit in the spot I have. Regards.

I think it sucks that you cannot purchase a dvd any longer! Some of us still like the dvd version so we can have a tangible item.
You are not alone! I see many people say the same thing and I can understand that to some degree. They used to make branded SD cards with the decorations on them which was really cool and that's how I purchased Witching Hour. But unfortunately DVDs are a little different since they are not high resolution.
Can you select not to have the twins play? I’m thinking about getting this for my mom, but the twins are a little much. Especially when I saw the noose.
I feel you. Yes, you do not need to have any of the scenes of the twins play.
You could also buy the Ghost Pirate and Materializing Maid a-la-carte but it would be virtually the same price as buying all three.
Is there any backgrounds for the individual projections?
I mean backgrounds if you decide to play them on your television screen...

I just purchased this the other day and hoping that I can only use the ghost pirate steering the boat only. Does anyone know?
You can definitely only use that scene if that’s what you want to do!

My niece owns the AtmosFX projector with some animations, is there somewhere she can download some extra animations for free?
Not for free but there are plenty of additional animations available at atmosfx.com.
If you don't have a computer is it still possible to download these to a USB drive and plug it into a projector? Im a complete noob when it comes to this...
I am not sure how you would be able to get the files onto a USB drive without the use of a computer. I would check out the AtmosFX Decorating Community group on Facebook and see what people would recommend!
I see.. Was hoping to get the Eerie eyes set up but with it only being digital im not sure if i can get it without a computer. Hoping I can figure something out, ill check on that group and see what my options are, thank you for replying. Its too bad no one sells the USB flash drive with the video already on it.
@@garzaclaytoncg I think I saw you post on there, hopefully it helped! Atmos used to sell loaded SD cards but I think it's just a logistics and profit margins issue.
I don’t know if you already solved your problem, but I have the Atmosfx projector and it has a spot for a USB drive. I download the file online and save it to a flash drive, put the flash drive in the projector, and it works great!

The twins movements were stiff, the sound effects were off and I agree not into the depiction of hanging children. The maid was more funny/entertaining then scary but I honestly think the pirate was the best one. Felt like the twins and maid made more appearances then the pirate.
Agreed! Ghost Pirate was far and away the stand out.
I like it but I want more creepy spirits and ghost. Maybe some monsters do you have a suggestion where I could find these? Thank you

@@skyscanr They do; their website is just a little wonky. If you look them up here on TH-cam, you can see videos of all of their effects.

Must be some of the older AtmosFX decorations.
Is mosquito netting good?
Short answer - probably not. You will find that the knit for mosquito netting is not tight enough and will allow too much light to pass through, not allowing you to see much of the projected image.
What is the type of fabric you’re using? Couldn’t make out what you were saying

@@tracemiller1519 Really depends on what you are hoping to achieve. White chiffon will give you the most vibrant/life-like projection but grey chiffon will be harder to see at night. Both options will work well!

I don't think that I would want to use the one of the kids hanging. My neighbor across the street had a son who hung himself in the basement. This may be traumatizing to them.

You can use any projector, yes. If you are wanting to do a hollusion projection, I would recommend a projector with an ansi lumen count of at least 1,000.

The Twins are awesome but Im sure sensitive folks would have an issue with it. Personally it's rad due to the shock value it adds to it.
But then again at the Haunted Mansion they depict a hanging man infront of kids so...

I just purchased the ghostly apparitions but I thought it came with a projector. Unfortunately it doesn't and the one they offer is out of my price range. What projector do you recommend that would be good on Amazon something below $200 if possible

@@ToilandTroublesDIY ok they are two windows and they are 6ft W by 5ft tall with a small gap in the middle of them.
i agree this pack wasnt very kid friendly, i wont be using the twins for a start, all the trick and treaters here are youngsters, think ill stick to the boo crew for lower main window and more adult projections to the upstairs windows where youngsters are unlikely to look

I do not think that children committing suicide by hanging is scary (9:00). I think it's a travesty that we as a nation think that it is scary, and not a reality that breaks every parents heart.
