This doesn't work if the battery is rated for 2500mah it only uses 2500 doesn't matter on battery size. I upgraded to 6000mah and still could only use 2500
I believe that he is hoping to piggyback a pair of extra battery units onto the sides of his Mavic Mini. There might be a few weird problems such as flight issues due to the extra weight. Also, I believe that he is using Li-po battery packs which are not really the same chemistry as the stock Li-ion pack which comes stock with the Mavic Mini, the result could be that the batteries could fight between themselves with varying power drain curves, but I'm not really sure since I've never seen anybody mix battery chemistries before. He really should have used the same type of battery chemistry. Anyhow, the batteries are wired parrallel to one another to increase the amperage for longer flight times. I personally was thinking of doing a battery modification too but it's nice to see what has been done before I start.
@@Stickers77 yes I did and I needed to remove the battery door on the mini to make it work and I wasn't very comfortable with it being like that. So actually I guess in reality the answer is no lol.

I am just aiming for another 40% more air time while still having the battery kept internal with the door closed and within 10 grams of the spec weight. A lot of these 18650 batteries come with safety components tucked into the top button of the battery which may be the reason why a previous poster could not close the battery door(extra length), so i went without the "button top" feature to prevent this. Anyways I will post some info but in the back of my mind i am aware that the engineers at DJI are not idiots so there probably will be some sort of compromise. Perhaps it was just the weight issue since 3500 mah batteries always do weigh more than the Samsung 25R 2500 mah battery that is currently used.
It will detect "payload" and switch into "payload mode" automatically and geofence the Mini. If you switch off payload mode and try to fly with the extra weight, you will get a motor overload error code and the drone will try to land. It's really a waste of time to modify the battery of a drone that gets 25 minutes of flight time and will fly 3 miles with simple 10 dollar silicone Yagi range extenders. I just uploaded a video where I went 2.85 miles one way and back on the stock battery and with only Yagi range extenders.
It will work fine as the propeller guards weigh 50 grams with a total of 305 grams with propeller guards and deone and here there is 310 grams with extra battery with no propeller guards so it will totally work fine.

Đây ko phải điện áp cục sạc hay pin thấp mà bạn nên update firmware battery xem có hết không, nếu không có khả năng pin này được bay đến 1% hoặc 0%. Nghĩa là dùng cạn pin. Bạn dùng 2 sợi dây đấu vào chân 2+5 làm chân mass, chân 3+4 đấu vào dây kia làm nguồn dương, rồi nối vào dây usb hoặc cốc sạc (có hiệu điện thế tầm 5v) để kích. Khoảng 3 đến 5 phút, bạn lắm nó lại cào box sạc hoặc flycam sẽ sạc được bình thường. (Nếu bạn có đồng hồ vạn năng, có thể đo pin , nếu đạt tối thiếu 3,5v thì ok). Còn trường hợp pin Mavic Mini của bạn được mổ làm chuột bạch, khi bạn xả chì 2 cực của cục pin thì ic trên bms sẽ bị clear data,flycam không nhận nữa (ngoại trừ dùng thiết bị để reset ic counter về mức 0). thì viên pin này của bạn không thể dùng được nữa. Lưu ý: nếu muốn em yêu khoa học, trong lúc tháo cell pin, phải đấu nó với nguồn dự phòng để lấy điện nuôi ic, lúc đó hẳn tháo và thao cell pin khác vô. Nhưng có 1 điều là khi ic counter nó đếm đủ số lần sạc/xả coi như pin cũng hết tuổi đời. Hiện tại chưa có app reset countdown cho việc này.
