I was in church one day a so call Prophet was there I was hoping he didn’t come to me he did , although he was in my ear God make it so that I didn’t hear a word he said in my ear . Other people in the church he spoke to I don’t see anything happen as he was saying it’s all a lie. And he wasn’t the only prophet I had an encounter with I was trying to get away from this one to but fail , nothing he said came through either. I go the Father Himself and he deliver I don’t need a middle man . The most High is the director of my life . Not some so call man calling himself a prophets
If you have the Holy spirit, God is still giving these gifts out, especially chosen ones to work against the enemy, while we still here on earth. Ex: if you are driving or walking, etc and God want to warn you about something that's about to happening, how are you going to know? I whole heart agree with you . What I got from this message is the ones who calls themselves these things ...like the ones with the real gifts don't even want it - it takes a while for them to even understand the gift they have . I think the message was for us to remain humble . For example most prophets in the bible didn't walk up to people and said I'm a prophet they would say I am a messenger . The term was used as a general term of respectful address and not as a descriptive term. The same way that some presidents of countries are called "excellency".

It is common knowledge that John was the last apostle. Nowhere in scripture does it indicate that God appointed replacement apostles when the originals were murdered except for Paul who replaced Judas. That is something that would have been written.

I whole heart agree with you . What I got from this message is the ones who calls themselves these things ...like the ones with the real gifts don't even want it - it takes a while for them to even understand the gift they have . I think the message was for us to remain humble . For example most prophets in the bible didn't walk up to people and said I'm a prophet they would say I am a messenger . Maybe you should read the Bible yourself. Hebrews 1:1-3. In the First Days God spoke to us through Prophets. But in the last days(since Christ) God speaks to us through his Son. The term was used as a general term of respectful address and not as a descriptive term. The same way that some presidents of countries are called "excellency".

There's a religion that goes as far as attributing the title "father" to their leaders. But we are told in Matthew 23:9

It is common knowledge that John was the last apostle. Nowhere in scripture does it indicate that God appointed replacement apostles when the originals were murdered except for Paul who replaced Judas. That is something that would have been written.

Hebrews 1:1-3. It says basically God spoke to us through his Prophets, a Burning Bush and a Donkey in the First Day's. But in these Last Days(since Christ) He speaks to us through his son and all Christ had to say is in a Closed Canon. If you crave new Revelations the Bible isn't enough for you. You see when people say God told them something that should have as much Authority as the Scriptures abd should be added to the Canon. Christ said not to add or take away. Those fakes are adding. Do you know one man that can perform the Sign Gifts? That is the ability to heal and raise the dead. Or the ability to do Signs and Wonders. Not Psychosomatic healing like my knee, back and shoulder feels better. The ability to heal Down Syndrome, true Cripples or cure diseases. God still heals but at his Sovereign Will and pleasure.

Yes the gift of prophesying can fall on someone through the spirit, but they are not a continuous prophet. You are not the gifts given to you. That's the point. Yes it is written that young men with prophecy and old men will dream dreams (visions) but they are not prophets like in the scriptures. All of Yah's children, filled with the holy Spirit will be granted gifts, through the spirit. It is the spirit doing the thing, not you... Meaning, not appointed. It's sentenx and understanding. @@user-bj9kw4pl3n you evidently don’t understand the concept of apostle and Prophet, an apostle has to have seen Jesus Christ in the flesh just as Paul did on the road. He was a last apostle. And a prophet is no longer necessary, because the Holy Spirit teaches us all things.

Ephesians 4:11-16. These ministry gifts are still in operation within the body of Christ. Each gift (apostle, teacher, pastor, evangelist, prophet) are necessary for the growth and development of the body.
