Really good stuff here. I am a massive rotator cuff repair patient with an additional biceps tenodesis repair. My surgeon didn't want me to even move my arm for 4 weeks. I couldn't have anyway due to the pain. Started physical therapy at 6 weeks post op. Very tight yet I see the benefit of attempting to stay away from a re-tear. So far so good. I'm now 12 weeks out and it has been a slow and painful recovery. Still very tight but making gains. PT is now 2 times a week and still very painful but I'm pushing through for small gains. I'm 61 which may be why it is taking a bit longer. I see the results and am thankful to take it slow and stay away from a re-tear-my biggest fear. I'm in it for the long haul and happy for the slower, yet painful pace. I believe I will ultimately recover well from this.

What if your shoulder never gets better and stays tight for a year after surgery?
