Hi guys I hope everyone is well. So here is my Traxxas Slash 4x4 X-01 Motor Mount mod.

This is my progress so far with my Traxxas Slash upgrades and my Traxxas Slash Top Speed . Both front and rear clips(A-arms, drive shafts, turnbuckles, steering blocks, gearboxes and shock towers fit right on the Slash 4x4 chassis. The two cars share many parts.
Next I took the stock X-01 sliding motor mount and drilled it. I then drilled and tapped a Slash 4x4 aluminum aftermarket motor mount and screwed the two together to make a sliding top/center mount motor mount so I can run Mod1 big gearing for speed runs. It turned out great. My inspiration for this came from Henry Ford's RC and Liberty Francis here on youtube. Check them out.

Traxxas Slash 4x4 LCG chassis
X-01 Motor mount drilled to bolt onto aftermarket aluminum Slash 4x4 motor mount drilled and tapped
Castle Creations 1515 2200Kv motor
Hot Racing slipper eliminator(long)
RPM blue A-arms.
Traxxas X-01 front shock tower(front).
Traxxas X-01 shock tower(rear)
Gears: Traxxas Mod1 34 pinion and Hot Racing Revo 3.3 Mod1 40 gear spur.
Differentials opened and repacked with 200k diff oil for better traction.
Traxxas 17mm wheel adaptor kit.
