No joke, the Baby deck is so ridiculously fun, too. The resource loop he can provide, and the continuous, swarming pressure, is so satisfying.
It's only fun cause of how good and uninteractive it is
Especially when you cheat while playing
@@gigadon120 This just in: A deck that is good is also fun to play. More at 11.
Hey, thanks for the video! Small note, but the 4c Vegito can grab a 5 or 6c Vegito from drop, so it acts as a bit of redundancy on a 10k body if you accidentally mill your bombs
It was truly an amazing tourney! I felt very fortunate and proud to be a part of it
Your commentary was dope bro well done
Hope the event well for ya and you enjoyed yourself! Plan to go back and watch the whole event, as I missed most of it
Hi Espira, everything ok?
Can you please review the ending of the final's first game?
I was under the impression that the GT beat the Bardock (DS) by 70k and the baby defended with exactly 70k.
During the live, it was not possible to go back, but now that the match is available, I went back to the video and found it strange.
Cards used in GT attack with Bardock (DS):
1x ParaPara (10k)
1x Goten: GT (10k)
+ Leader Ability (15k)
Cards used on Babys defense:
2x Glorio (10k + 10k)
1x Super Baby 2 (10k)
1x Parapara (10k)
1x Baby Possessed (10k)
I agree.. Dovale didn't have enough to stop the attack... He should have lost game 1...problem is it's on the players... They picked them cards up so fast without counting properly... Unfortunate but mistakes happen when you accept defeat and trust what your opponent says they have without counting
I think that should also be responsibility on the judges, especially with how fast Dovale decided to scoop up and cheat. If you look at the stream he pops out the hand to opponent and does not give him the opportunity to count, while giving him a fist bump to hide the cards and divert attention. After he scoops the cards in a rush and shuffles to hide evidence, but there is the stream. As a player you are already on a high stress position tbh, but you should trust judges to double check and not be useless...
@@Aldo1026196 I agree... But he also scooped up his deck so fast as well... Gotta slow it down when it comes to major tournaments
@@otxoafilms if you watch the end of the match you will see opponent not scooping anything fast. He is left dumbfounded and overwhelmed with emotion, Dovale did scoop up fast obvious signs of guilt and cheating.
You can see one of the judges try to intervine on the situation and question it, but at that point the evidence was gone (could have double checked the tape then and there).
@Aldo1026196 I agree with you... Mostly is on the judge... I would have said "wait" "let me count"... I feel bad for him... Always some cheating happening in dragonball streams... Smh
Gabe is from my local store tournaments! Let’s go dude!
Yea baby looks super fun, I’m excited to play itn
10/10 opener
The bardock deck with almost no bardocks crew is crazy to see!!!!
The innate 25K attack and 1 card scry is a strong ability on its own!
Hey Espira, would you mind doing an update of your opinions on the current state of fusion world and what would make or break dbs fw when fb05 releases?
I'd like to hear what you think about the community and if you see it becoming more or less popular? For me FB04 is a real let down. There are 2 cool leader cards I enjoy but other than that where is the hype? FB05 does not look like a pick up after such a let down.
Hope you are well and admire what you do. Hope this message reaches you well buddy.
No Jirens huh? Interesting 🧐
Is the online tcg dead?
Feels like it huh? Lol matchmaking takes forever and almost NOBODY plays select match which is my favorite
No jiren? That's crazy.
Not at all, all black deck can deal with it, blue of course, red himself to, now even green can destroy him with that 2 cost extra nappa card. Only Yellow struggle against
@@Broly-qx4vp that's not true. Blue was never really a big problem like people said in fb03, proof is that jiren topped a lot of tournament after people knew how to play him properly. Green it's a joke bc if you event to 4c Jiren, next turn it's 6c Jiren time and it's pretty over for green. For black, you have to use a whole turn to deal with 4c Jiren. And now you have other options and 6c Jiren is still a manace (6c Goku too).
It's really really a strong deck but like fb03, people will realize it a bit later.
@@Broly-qx4vp Saying that extra Nappa card destroys Jiren is...cap.
Here's what that card accomplishes
-Removes one singular Jiren from the board
-Charges Red one free energy, putting them from a Min of 3 to 4, 5 on their next turn if they charge. And that's if they had the energy marker and used it for Jiren.
Now here's the issues. For starters, that takes care of one Jiren, but what about the second? Heck, even a third isn't unheard of. You have one turn of an opening with that Jiren gone, but Jiren is a 25K so hitting him is already not the easiest, and you've burned 2 energy for that extra, so it's likely you're going to be going midrange with him instead of big green bosses.
The moment Red's turn starts is where the big ass problems start. One free energy for Red of all colours is a massive issue for Green. An already aggressive colour, even in its slower Jiren variants, so one energy propels them farther than one energy for, say, Green. Again, they could play another Jiren and you're right back in the same problem without that extra to play, only now they have another energy, and if you use that extra again and don't kill, you are in TROUBLE.
Of course, they can do much more than just 4c Jiren. Like say, 6c Jiren. Free damage on the board, 2 cards for them. Or 6c UI Goku, who can wipe a midrange board very easily, very repeatably, and provides a buffer much like 4c Jiren. Or they rush you with 2-3 costs and go wide. That's not to talk of playing 4c Jiren, and using one of the new Jiren extras with that extra energy you gave them.
TL:DR- 2 cost Nappa extra can deal with Jiren, yes, but it's a shaky solution that, if done improperly, can lead to many worrisome consequences. Jiren still does very well against Green decks.
@@Ender41948 man it’s just math, you pay 4 to play Jiren and i play 2 to deal with your Jiren. Then of course i play at least 2 extra nappa, or maybe 3. I can recycle them with cell jr if needed. If you lose 2 jirens, then you maybe have a third one or not.. and don’t forget when i lose 2 energy to deal with your 4 energy card, i can still atk with 30k lesd or do other stuf because i have more than 2 energy lol. When jiren have 4 energy, android should have like 6-8 depending on the game
@@Broly-qx4vpyou're not really identifying the main two problems. One, the extra is a dead card until you use it to remove Jiren, especially if you horde more than one. Two, you're charging Jiren, not removing him, giving red resources. Again, you deal with him for the moment but you have a dangerous situation after.
