Enjoyment Tier List for me personally, from top to bottom. Black Green Red Yellow Blue (My starter color) I love black, I just wish they weren't leaning into making the SCRs so vital to the strategy now.
So i recently started collecting yesterday and really wanna learn more on how to play and what decks build good. Long shot but would you mind giving me some tips/ppointers? Wanting to start a team at my gaming club here in my town.
If your just playing local gaming club, unless your all super competitive and looking for the best top tier decks, almost every leader is viable so I’d just pick either a character you really like or a play style you really enjoy Especially since some decks like ginyu are considered bottom tier because playing against any 25k attack leaders (which there are 3 in the game) it’s pretty much an auto lose, and there are some cards that really counter the ginyu deck (like frost in red) But the deck if your not in a tourney settting where your likely to play against these decks, you could really crush it with that deck Digital client is a really good way to get your feet wet with this card game if you have more questions I’m also happy to answer here, huge fan of the game myself
@@EmbracedDestiny I appreciate that man. So i just got the digital release and i am running a deck i made with broly. How is he as far as competitive because that is the route i eventually wanna go in the future
@@nickwilcott6406 broly was who I started with, really good character to start with, but I’d say unfortunately one of the weaker decks right now. Especially since red seems popular, and a good card they have destroys a 25k off your board and you take one damage, so if they drop you to 4 health and then use that you go down to 3 before you get to awaken, so you’ll awaken to 2 hp and they can go all in with a double striker. Green this set is probably in a pretty bad place as I think they will lose to red and yellow rush down and black is new to the game, which seems to be really powerful but I don’t think the meta for this set has fully been figured out, the debate between if blue goku or black (bardock/ssj4 goku) is the actual best deck. If blue is the best, in general green will have a great matchup against blue. And in the past sets green was #1 in the first set, and the worst in set 2 until they banned some of reds cards which had green come back but really mainly just androids being the best deck. This set I’d imagine androids still being the best green deck. Beerus has consistently been a solid deck for red, and jiren seems to also be really good. Jiren is also a 25k leader like broly if you like that, but if you prefer the ramp style play your big bodies then stick with green. Blue best deck seems to be the new Goku, with vegeta probably being a solid second best deck. Yellow probably a tie between vegeta and frieza. Green is the king of late game, blue is the king of stall, red and yellow are both great at agression with yellow being really good at swarm, where red has a bit more control to remove the board. And blue is all about recurring cards as long as you have low cards in hand so you wear your opponent out. Black is all about getting the energy marker back, allowing you to play things on curve a turn early and really can apply a lot of pressure due to that. Black also seems to have a few cards that do very similar things to the other cards, so sort of like a jack of all trades master of none.
@@EmbracedDestiny Crazy coming back to this. I actually faced Xatumi the other day and i felt i act did really good. he ended up taking the W but i do felt it wqas a good close game. Also i now understand why broly is not good lol he is so low in the meta rn and the whole losing a life at 4 is just setting you up to lose lol. Glad to say tho i just achieved gold man! LOVING blue vegeta lol
its hard to justify a single copy of a card no matter how strong, like what happens if u just don't draw it. It's better to have consistency than luck.
@@XatumiTCG You don't have to play the deck around her, it's just that if you draw it = Big + if you don't then play your deck like normally.. If you draw it and can't play it, cool it's a 10k combo lol
@@XatumiTCG The card is at one for a reason and even at 1 it's still a strong card. It's foolish not to play it. It's like not playing monster reborn when you know you should. And Cabba makes Kefla recyclable.
Ya know I actually kinda get it, I think kefla is really good and should be a 1 of in the deck, personally I probably wouldn’t want to run it either though. Same reason I don’t play goku black, I just hate high rolling, because it means you can low roll. I’d rather know my deck will always be “this good” even if it’s not optimal xD
I agree, I think bardock is probably the better black deck, but I’m on the fence since the gt boost your 3c bardock to 35k which can swing twice is a really big game ender. I think you need to be much more careful going down in health against gt

Been going GT Goku and hitting turn 2 SS3 and turn 3 SS4 to go full aggro is nuts.

play her in ur jiren deck and you'll see if its worth.

I pulled most black support cards and have the Bardock starter deck so I’m choosing black leaders. 😂 easy
