Thanks for the video, Espira! Glad to see you covering the Gundam Card Game! Also, congratulations on getting to play during the Orlando event. It looked like a fun game.
Thank you for summing up some of the most important rules of the game ! I have 2 questions,if you can answer them it would be awesome! 1. If you have full board of units (non token ones ) does a token unit count for the unit cap of 6 or is it excluded ? And if it does count to the cap then i assume you can choose if it replaces any other mech on the board (tapped or not ) or you just trash it on arrival (i hope triggering "when a unit is destroyed " effect at that point) 2. there are combat tricks that say "Choose 1 enemy Unit with 5 or less HP. Return it to its owner's hand." , If the target has 5 or less HP (as a base ) but has a pilot attached to it ,making it go over the threshold.... does the card fizzle or it looks only base stats (same applies if the mech took dmg from a fight and is now at/below 5 hp )? thx in advance and i hope to watch some gameplay in the near future !
@FinalFlash1000 Rules as written the answers are 1: Yes, token units count for the purpose of determining 6 or more units. No, you cannot choose to trash the token as it is not in play yet, you must choose a card already in the battle area. And finally this does not count as the unit being destroyed and so will not trigger on destroy effects. 2: First let's clear up a couple misconceptions. The card you are referring to Witch and the Bride, cannot target bases. Also, Bases are not units. Also also, Bases cannot have pilot cards under them currently (because they aren't units). Now to answer the heart of the question, if the pilot stats count, the answer is yes, the game looks at the unit's current total health to determine stats. So a 4 health unit with +2/+2 would have 6 health and not be a legal target. However this does not mean the effect just fizzles. You have to have a legal target to play the card in the first place.
Well yes but it is always enemy unit so it is wiping the board but also repairing the enemy units. I couldn't find any card that returns your own unit.
@@LordSpleach that's why I said I couldn't find so far any kind. But you are right. That's a free heal. I wonder if they will go this way because this has to be nerfed somehow as you can just get cards from the table and just place them again right away. So this is a huge advantage with powerful unit which can't be killed in one round. And annoying as well 🤣 Easiest way would be to cap it by unit level, cost, basic power or something like that.
The "multiple cards doing something simultaneously triggers related abilities once" makes sense in the abstract but feels really poorly worded on the card. Maybe it's just my Magic: the Gathering background, but I feel like this could've been easily avoided by the card with the trigger stating "when ONE OR MORE cards" instead of "when A card".
appreciate the explanation. The action step was what was throwing me off cause I didn't know when exactly that was supposed to happen, me and my buddies just assumed you can play an action card whenever. Even before the active player starts attacking which you could just use intercept order to immediately rest any potential attackers before they get to attack. So i'm glad to see that explained more and see how wrong we were in doing that lol cause I felt like that wasn't how I was supposed to use this card.

Union Arena has a hand limit.

Ua also has hand size limit but its only 8
Wasnt the max size 10?
@DeCa796 no, it's 8. There is a site that makes it 15 but there is no rule of 10
I need people to play this with.
I like how bouncing can help full repair units.

@misiopuchatek152 Not yet of course, but give it time.

Tks for the video 👍
Swap unit more detail please
I read the whole rulebook.

100% same. They could clean up the rules text a bit, but if it's like Digimon localization it'll have a lot of messes to work through with Q&A docs.

I did read the whole thing… did I read it right? That’s anotaré story lmao
If someone attacks a resting unit can I defend it with another unit (that doesn't have blocker)?
You cannot, you must have a unit that has blocker in it's text. If you are wanting to block an attack.
Naruro had a hand size limit
